Lufthansa Business Lounge
DXB · Terminal 1, Concourse D
LH's Business-tier lounge in Concourse D: less premium than Senator, but still a quieter alternative to the third-party crowd.
LH Business Lounge is the lower-tier sibling of the Senator. Same Concourse D location, often shared entrance and reception. Inside, the layout is one open floor with seating clusters, a buffet at one side, and a manned bar. The kitchen runs a curated daily menu — hot mains rotate through German classics (schnitzel, käsespätzle), a Western option, and an Arabic dish. Cold spread is German cheese and charcuterie, salads, hot pretzels, and dessert. Bar pours German wines, beers, and basic spirits. Showers in a separate corridor. Wi-Fi is the same fast LH network as Senator. The lounge is workable for laptop time but lacks the dedicated workstations and phone-call rooms of Senator. Crowd is mostly LH Business passengers plus Star Alliance Silver from other carriers.
Crowding · comfortable
Workable but not optimized. Wi-Fi is fast, power available at most seats, but no dedicated workstations or phone-call rooms (those are upstairs in Senator). Lounge seating with side tables for laptops. Quieter than third-party options but not silent.

Curated rather than open buffet. Hot mains rotate (schnitzel, käsespätzle, plus a Western and Arabic option). Cold spread is properly German — cheese, charcuterie, salads, hot pretzels with mustard. Dessert station rotates daily. Bar pours German wines and beers, basic spirits, with cocktails on request. Tier below Senator (no a la carte) but still meaningfully better than third-party buffets.

Quick answers.
No. The LH Business Lounge is restricted to LH Business class and Star Alliance Silver. Priority Pass is not accepted at any LH lounge at DXB.
Senator is the premium tier (Star Alliance Gold, LH Senator/HON, LH First). It has dedicated workstations, phone-call rooms, and a la carte dining. The Business Lounge is the business-tier sibling — same LH ethos but smaller and without the workspace amenities.
Yes. If you have Star Alliance Gold or LH Senator status, go to Senator next door. The Business Lounge is for travelers without those credentials.
Operating hours follow LH's flight schedule at DXB. Outside those windows, the third-party lounges in T1 are alternatives.
