Emirates Business Lounge
DXB · Terminal 3
The largest airline business lounge in the world: a la carte dining, direct boarding, and a Skywards Gold pass that opens it regardless of cabin.
The Emirates Business Lounge spans the upper level of Concourse A, directly above the gates that serve Emirates' premium long-hauls. Direct boarding is the headline feature: when your flight is called, you walk down a private staircase to the gate. The dining is a la carte from a manned hot kitchen plus a substantial cold and Arabic buffet. Multiple bars pour Veuve Clicquot, premium spirits, and a curated wine list. Workstations along one side, a quiet zone separate from the main floor, and shower suites with full amenities. The lounge is genuinely massive — even at peak you'll find seats, just not necessarily in your preferred zone. Service quality is the tier below the First Lounge but still reference-grade for an airline business lounge.
Crowding · spacious
Strong work setup but not the lounge's primary function. Dedicated workstations along one side with desks and power. Wi-Fi handles video calls. Quiet zone is the best place for focused work. Daytime hours (10am–8pm) are calmer than the midnight peak.
A la carte plus buffet, both running simultaneously. Order from the menu (steak, seafood, Arabic mains, pasta) or graze the buffet (mezze, hot mains, cold spread, sushi station, dessert). Veuve Clicquot poured generously at the bar, plus signature cocktails and a curated wine list. Staff pace courses if you let them. Quality and breadth one tier below the First Lounge but still well above any third-party option.
Dietary: Halal throughout · Vegetarian a la carte and buffet options · Gluten-free on request · Children's menu available

If you have Skywards Gold and you're flying economy on Emirates, use this lounge — most members don't realize they qualify in economy.
Order from the a la carte menu, not the buffet. The kitchen is meaningfully better than the buffet equivalent.
Avoid 12am–3am if you can. The lounge handles the volume but quieter zones fill first.
Direct boarding means you don't need to leave 30+ minutes before departure — wait for the call, walk down the stairs.
Veuve Clicquot is the standing champagne. Just ask the bar.
Quick answers.
No. Priority Pass is not accepted at the Emirates Business Lounge. Access requires Emirates Business Class, Skywards Gold (any cabin), or oneworld Sapphire on an Emirates-operated flight.
The First Lounge is one level up, with restricted access (First Class, Skywards Platinum, oneworld Emerald on EK metal). It has Timeless Spa, more attentive service, and caviar on the standing menu. The Business Lounge is much larger, also has direct boarding and a la carte dining, and Skywards Gold opens it regardless of cabin.
No. Emirates does not sell walk-in or pre-booked day passes for this lounge. Status or a Business Class ticket only.
Yes. When your flight is called, you walk down a private staircase from the lounge floor to the gate level. You can stay in the lounge until 10–15 minutes before departure for most flights.
