Vienna Airport is getting a facelift. In December 2024, Austrian Airlines opened a temporary lounge at Gates G (non-Schengen departures), which is expected to remain in operation until a new, permanent lounge opens in 2027 in the terminal’s south extension. The Austrian Lounge is located in the former gates G01-Go3 area, and features comfortable seating and panoramic tarmac views. The club welcomes business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members alike—there are no longer separate Business and Senator Lounges—but HON Circle members still have their own separate private area
