About this lounge

The Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge is the flagship lounge at Bahrain International Airport and the home-carrier centrepiece of the new International Terminal, which opened in January 2021. With capacity for around 400 guests, it's twice the size of the lounge it replaced — a luxuriously appointed, daylight-filled space designed for Gulf Air's premium travellers. The layout spreads across an expansive seating area, a quiet zone fitted with recliners for resting, shower suites for freshening up, a dedicated family room and even a pool table. The headline feature is the 600 sqm (6,500 sq ft) terrace, a rare open-air space inside an airport. Food is a genuine step up from a standard buffet: a live cooking station turns out a generous selection of hot and cold entrées prepared on site.
