The JAL International Sakura Lounge is Japan Airlines' flagship international lounge at Kansai International Airport. It was renovated in July 2015, and the refit brought a noticeably improved design along with a set of features that lift it above the other lounges at KIX: massage chairs for unwinding before a long flight, electronic lockers for stowing valuables, power outlets at every seat and refurbished bathrooms. The food and beverage selection was expanded at the same time, adding curries and a salad bar to the spread. As JAL's premium international lounge, it serves eligible Japan Airlines and oneworld passengers — typically those travelling in a premium cabin or holding qualifying status. The result is the most complete and comfortable branded-lounge experience at Kansai, well suited to a long-haul departure.
