The Rex Lounge in Terminal 2 is the rare Sydney domestic lounge that takes Priority Pass, and the original Rex lounge Sydney flyers know. It sits airside on the lower level near Gate G2. There is a catch in 2026. During the T2 upgrade works, Rex departures moved to T3 from April 2025 until late 2026, and Rex opened a second lounge there at Gate 16 in July 2026. If you are flying Rex, the T3 lounge is the one by your gate. Entry is for Rex Lounge members (plus 1 guest), Rex Flyer Diamond members, Priority Pass members, and Rex passengers who buy casual access for 2 hours with a same-day boarding pass. Continental breakfast runs until 10:00, brunch and supper snacks follow, and the bar opens at 15:00. Massage chairs and workstations round it out. Rex lists hours of 05:30 to 19:00 on weekdays.
