The Marhaba T1 lounge: maximum access program coverage at DXB, simple and reliable.
Marhaba is the contract lounge brand most associated with Dubai, and the T1 location is the workhorse of the family. It's been operating at DXB for years and trades on broad access program coverage rather than amenity headlines. Walk in with Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey, Star Alliance Gold, oneworld Sapphire, or a UAE-issued bank card carrying lounge benefits — most travelers find at least one path in. Day passes are sold at the door (cheaper if pre-booked online). Inside, the layout is open-plan with seating clusters around a central buffet. Hot mains, cold spread, manned bar, plus barista coffee. Showers in a separate corridor. Quiet zone at the back with reclining seating, dimmed at night. Wi-Fi is fast enough for everything except heavy uploads. It's the lounge for travelers who care about access more than ambiance, and at DXB that's most travelers.
Crowding · comfortable
Workable but not optimized. Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls. Some power outlets at seating clusters; not at every seat. No dedicated workstations. Quiet zone is the best place for focused work — separate from the main floor and dimmed at night. Phone-call privacy is limited; step into the quiet zone or a corner.
Buffet covers Arabic, Asian, and Western mains. Hot dishes rotate every few hours: biryanis, grilled chicken or fish, vegetable curries, plus a Western dinner option (pasta or roast). Cold spread is a cheese plate, cold cuts, salads, hummus, labneh, fresh fruit. Bar is manned for alcohol, with self-serve soft drinks, juices, and water. Coffee station is barista-manned (proper espresso). Quality is a step below the airline-operated lounges in T1 (BA, Lufthansa) but workable.
Dietary: Halal throughout · Vegetarian options at every meal service · Vegan dishes labeled at the buffet · Gluten-free on request

Make the most of it.
Pre-book online via the Marhaba or DXB website for a 15–25% discount over the walk-in rate.
Avoid the 10pm–2am window if you want a quiet seat — that's when long-hauls cluster.
Showers don't formally book but request one at reception when you check in — staff will queue you.
If Marhaba is full, the Ahlan family of lounges (also T1 / Concourse D) usually has capacity at the same hour.
Children's policy is friendly: under 2 free, 2–11 at half rate, generally welcome.
Quick answers.
No. This is the Terminal 1 Marhaba. T2 is a separate terminal at DXB and historically had its own Marhaba Lounge, though current data may not reflect that. Check the lounge directory for T2 options if you're flying flydubai or another T2 carrier.
Yes. Marhaba T1 accepts Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey, Star Alliance Gold, oneworld Sapphire/Emerald, and walk-in day passes. It's one of the most access-flexible lounges at DXB.
From USD 50 for a standard 4-hour pass when pre-booked online via the Marhaba or DXB website. Walk-in at the door is around USD 60–70. Children 2–11 are half rate; under 2 free.
Not formal sleeping pods, but the Marhaba T1 has a quiet zone with reclining seats, dimmed lighting, and lower noise. Adequate for short rest, not for full sleep. For sleeping pods, the Ahlan Business Class Lounge in Concourse D is a better option.
Four hours under standard terms (Priority Pass, DragonPass, day pass). Star Alliance and oneworld status passengers may stay longer at the carrier's discretion. If your layover exceeds 4 hours, re-entry is generally allowed.
