The only Priority Pass lounge inside Emirates' terminal: matters when your bag is checked through to an EK flight.

About this lounge

Ahlan @A1 is a smaller member of the Ahlan family, located inside Emirates' Concourse A. It's the only Priority Pass option in T3, which makes it busy: every PP holder transiting on Emirates without Skywards status ends up here. The space is a single open floor with seating clusters, a hot buffet centered, a manned bar at the front. Hot mains rotate (Arabic curries, biryani, Western breakfast/dinner), with a permanent cold spread. Bar pours beer, wine, basic spirits. Showers in a separate corridor. Wi-Fi is fast. Quality is consistent Ahlan tier — comfortable but functional. Crowds at peak (12am–3am, 6am–9am EK departure clusters) genuinely fill the room.

Food & drink

Standard Ahlan template: hot buffet rotates through Arabic mains and Western options; cold spread covers cheese, charcuterie, salads, hummus. Bar pours beer, wine, basic spirits. Quality is on tier with the Concourse D Ahlan but in a smaller space, so freshness varies more between refresh windows.

Chicken biryani when fresh
Arabic mezze (hummus, fattoush)
Western breakfast in the morning
House wine and beer at the bar
Manned barista coffee station

Dietary: Halal throughout · Vegetarian options at every meal · Gluten-free on request · Vegan dishes available

Must tryThe biryani when freshly served — typically 6pm and 11pm refresh windows track EK departures.

Insider tips

Make the most of it.

01

If you're flying Emirates from T3 and have Priority Pass — this is your lounge. Don't try to walk to Ahlan Concourse D (different terminal, no airside link).

02

Arrive earlier in your visit if you want a shower — slots fill at peak.

03

Time meals for the EK departure refresh windows (6pm, 11pm) for freshest food.

04

The lounge has Concourse C and B siblings (Ahlan @C13, @B26) for travelers near those gates.

05

Capacity is genuinely smaller than Concourse D — accept the trade-off for the terminal-correct location.

FAQ

Quick answers.

No. T1 / Concourse D and T3 / Concourse A are not connected airside. Once you've cleared security at T3, you cannot walk to T1 lounges. This Ahlan @A1 is your only PP option inside T3 / Concourse A.

Yes, 24 hours, including the buffet and bar. Food rotation tracks EK departure peaks.

Four hours under standard Priority Pass and DragonPass terms. Re-entry is generally permitted on longer layovers.

Yes, at peak EK departure windows (12am–3am and 6am–9am). It's the only PP option in T3, so every PP holder transiting Emirates ends up here. Off-peak (3am–6am, 11am–5pm) is genuinely calmer.
