★4.6(2,383 reviews)ADD · Terminal 2 · airside
Bole's one independent lounge — Priority Pass or oneworld, near gate A7.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is the only independent lounge at Addis Ababa Bole and the most flexible way in for travellers who aren't flying Ethiopian Airlines in a premium cabin. It sits airside in the international Terminal 2, next to gate A7 on Level 2, just past passport control and the security check, which makes it easy to reach when you're connecting. Access is broad by Bole standards: Priority Pass members are welcome, as are oneworld Sapphire status holders and passengers travelling in Business Class. The space follows the familiar Plaza Premium template with contemporary, comfortable seating for relaxing before a flight, a spread of hot and cold food, fruit and snacks, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks and free Wi-Fi, plus computer access and a smoking area. It's open to international and in-transit flights only, and there's a maximum two-hour stay — worth planning around on a long layover. Children under two are admitted free.
Crowding · busy at transit peaks
A practical spot for a short work session in transit, with free Wi-Fi and shared computer access. Good for email and quick tasks, though the two-hour stay limit means it isn't a place to settle in for hours.
A spread of hot and cold food with fruit and snacks, plus hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages — the standard Plaza Premium self-service style. Vegetarian options are available. The food covers the international departures and connections that pass through Terminal 2.
