CIP Lounge
★4.1(49 reviews)DAR · Terminal 3 · airside
The most flexible lounge at DAR — DragonPass, Priority Pass, SkyTeam and Star Alliance under one roof.
The CIP Lounge is the most flexible lounge at Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere International, sitting airside in the newer Terminal 3 after passport control and security. It's the only DAR lounge that accepts all four major access routes — DragonPass, Priority Pass, SkyTeam and Star Alliance — which makes it the default recommendation for most travellers leaving from Terminal 3, whatever card or airline they're carrying. The lounge has a contemporary design with comfortable seating areas arranged for relaxing before a flight, offering a quieter escape from the main terminal floor. You'll find it near boarding gate C6, at the end of the airside hallway past the elevators and shops.
Crowding · can fill at peak
A workable spot for email and light work before a flight, with Wi-Fi and seating usable for a laptop, though it isn't a dedicated business lounge.
The CIP Lounge offers light refreshments and drinks to see you through a wait before your flight, in the contemporary style of an airside contract lounge rather than a full restaurant. Expect a self-service selection of snacks and beverages.
After passport control and security in Terminal 3, turn right towards boarding gate C6. Proceed straight ahead and turn left after the elevators and shops; the lounge entrance is at the end of the hallway.
