Malpensa's most flexible lounge — DragonPass, Priority Pass, three alliances or pay-in.

About this lounge

The Monteverdi Classic Lounge is the most flexible lounge at Milan Malpensa, sitting airside in Terminal 1's Schengen area close to boarding gates A1-A10. Run by airport operator SEA and remodelled in July 2023, it casts the widest net of any MXP lounge for access: DragonPass and Priority Pass members are welcome, Star Alliance, SkyTeam and oneworld passengers can use it on the right ticket, and it also admits pay-in guests. Inside you'll find the familiar SEA Classic-lounge template — a buffet of hot and cold food, a bar with wines, beers and spirits, complimentary Wi-Fi and a mix of seating for relaxing or working before departure. Because it covers so many access types in one place, it's the default recommendation for most travellers leaving Malpensa on a Schengen flight.

Food & drink

A buffet of hot and cold food in the SEA Classic style — hot dishes, salads, sandwiches and snacks alongside a bar serving wines, beers and spirits, plus coffee, tea and soft drinks. The spread refreshes through the day to suit early and later Schengen departures.

Insider tips

Make the most of it.

01

This is the most flexible lounge at MXP — DragonPass, Priority Pass, Star Alliance, SkyTeam, oneworld and pay-in all work.

02

It's on the Schengen side near the A gates — pick a non-Schengen lounge like Pergolesi if you're flying outside the Schengen zone.

03

It was remodelled in 2023, so the fit-out is newer than some other MXP lounges.

04

Arrive early at the morning departure peak to be sure of a seat.

05

It's in Terminal 1 — the Alda Merini Classic Lounge is the option if you're flying from Terminal 2.
