The American Airlines lounge across from Gate 22, and the only AUS lounge selling a day pass right now.

About this lounge

The American Airlines Admirals Club is the lounge to know at Austin airport if you want to pay your way in. It is the only lounge at AUS selling a day pass right now, since Delta no longer sells Sky Club passes and the United Club is temporarily closed. One-Day Passes are sold online and at select locations for a same-day American Airlines or oneworld flight, subject to availability. The club is airside on the mezzanine across from Gate 22, at the west end of the Barbara Jordan Terminal, and Checkpoint 4 gives easier access to Gates 22 and above. It is open daily 04:15-21:15 per aa.com. Food is complimentary snacks and soup, and the full-service bar pours complimentary house wine, beer and liquor, with premium drinks for sale. A bigger club is on the way: American is building a new Admirals Club of more than 12,000 sq ft in the West Gate Expansion, with the first outdoor terrace in its lounge network. The current club stays open until then.

Fine for email and a few calls on the Wi-Fi before an American flight. It is not a dedicated work lounge, and busy periods make a quiet corner harder to find.

Come for the bar, not a meal. Food is complimentary snacks and soup, while the full-service bar pours complimentary house wine, beer and liquor, with premium drinks for sale. Other food is available to buy.
