The largest lounge at Austin-Bergstrom, with a covered outdoor Sky Deck over the airfield.

About this lounge

The Delta Sky Club is the best lounge at Austin airport for most people who can get in. It is the only Delta Sky Club at AUS and the largest lounge in the terminal, about 9,000 sq ft, and it opened on 21 May 2019. You will find it airside on the mezzanine of the Barbara Jordan Terminal near Gate 4, above Delta Gates 1 and 2 at the east end, reached by stairs or elevator. The standout is the covered outdoor Sky Deck, which overlooks the airfield and is usable year-round. Inside, Austin-themed decor shows work by local artists, and there is a full-service bar with spirits, beer and wine, self-serve food, workspaces with charging, Wi-Fi and printers. There is no Amex lounge at Austin airport, but American Express Platinum Card Members get into this club on a same-day Delta flight, 10 visits a year. Delta no longer sells Single Visit Passes, so there is no day pass.

A solid place to work before a flight. There are dedicated workspaces with charging, Wi-Fi and printers, which is more than most airline clubs offer. Peak Delta departure times are the hardest moments to find a free desk.

Food & drink

The bar is the stronger half here. It is full-service, with spirits, beer and wine, plus soft drinks. Food is self-serve, which suits a quick plate before boarding more than a sit-down meal.
