Dunedin's only lounge — an Air New Zealand Koru and Star Alliance Gold space upstairs in the domestic terminal.

About this lounge

The Air New Zealand Regional Lounge is the single lounge at Dunedin International Airport, sitting on the 2nd floor of the domestic terminal. It re-opened in November 2017 after a complete makeover, and the refreshed space seats around 120 guests across a mix of seating options. Expect a warm, calm atmosphere with comfortable clusters of seating, complimentary snacks, soft drinks and house wine, beer and spirits, plus free Wi-Fi and workspace facilities. Because it's an Air New Zealand lounge rather than an independent or pay-in lounge, access runs on Air New Zealand's rules: Koru membership, an eligible premium fare, or Star Alliance Gold status on the day you fly. There's no walk-in day pass and no Priority Pass coverage here, so plan around your status or fare.

A workable spot before a flight, with complimentary Wi-Fi, a workstation area and desktop PC access. Fine for email and light work, though it's a compact regional lounge rather than a dedicated business lounge.

Food & drink

The Air New Zealand Regional Lounge keeps things straightforward with a self-service offering suited to short-haul domestic departures. Expect complimentary snacks alongside soft drinks, hot drinks like tea and coffee, and a help-yourself bar with house wine, beer and spirits. It's a comfortable spread to graze on rather than a full restaurant-style buffet, designed to keep you fed and relaxed before a quick flight out of Dunedin. The food and beverage offering was fully restored from 11 June following the lounge's refurbishment.
