Affiliate & Commercial Disclosure
We want you to trust what you read on LoungeDeal, so we are upfront about how we earn and where our money comes from. This page explains our commercial relationships and how they do — and do not — affect what you see.

1. The short version
LoungeDeal is free to browse. We make money when some of our readers book a lounge or travel product through us, because a partner pays us a commission or booking fee for sending them business. That is the entire model in one sentence.
Earning a commission never changes the price you pay, and it never decides which lounges appear in our database, what we say about them, or how they are rated. The rest of this page spells that out in plain English.
2. How LoungeDeal makes money
When you book a selected lounge or travel product through LoungeDeal, the lounge operator, access network, or booking partner may pay us a commission, or a small booking fee may be built into the transaction. This is standard affiliate and partner revenue, and it is how we fund the work of building and maintaining the lounge database.
We earn from things like:
- -Affiliate commissions when you book a lounge, pass, or related travel product via a partner link on LoungeDeal.
- -Partner booking fees on selected lounges and products that are bookable directly through us.
- -Referrals to memberships, access networks, or travel services where a partner pays us for the introduction.
Not every lounge on LoungeDeal earns us anything. Many listings are in our database purely for reference and have no commercial link attached at all.
3. No extra cost to you
You do not pay more for booking through LoungeDeal. Any commission we receive is paid by the partner out of their own margin — it is not added on top of your price. Where a booking fee applies, it is shown to you transparently at checkout before you pay, so there are no surprises.
In short: using a LoungeDeal link costs you the same as going direct, and often saves you the time of hunting down the right option yourself.
4. Editorial independence
Our lounge database is built from verified information — operating hours, access rules, amenities, locations, and other facts we research and check. Our coverage, the lounge facts we publish, and any ratings or recommendations we make are not pay-for-placement and are not influenced by whether a lounge earns us a commission.
A lounge cannot buy a better description, a higher rating, or a more prominent spot in our database. A partner relationship does not earn a lounge softer coverage, and the absence of one does not earn it harsher coverage. If a partner lounge has a weak point, we will still say so.
5. What “partner” means
When we describe a lounge or product as a “partner,” we simply mean it is bookable via LoungeDeal — there is a commercial link that lets you reserve or purchase it through us, and from which we may earn a commission or booking fee.
“Partner” is a description of how you can book, not an endorsement above other lounges. A partner lounge sits in the same database, held to the same standards, as every other lounge we cover.
6. How we label bookable vs. database-only listings
We make it easy to tell the difference between a lounge you can book through us and one that is listed for information only:
- -Bookable / partner lounges carry a clear booking option (such as a price, a “book” action, or a partner link) so you know a commercial relationship exists.
- -Database-only listings have no booking option and exist purely as reference — these earn us nothing.
- -Outbound links that may earn us a commission lead to a partner, lounge operator, or booking provider to complete your purchase.
If you are ever unsure whether a link is commercial, you can assume that any link which lets you book, buy, or join something may earn LoungeDeal a commission.
7. Plain-English disclosure (FTC-style)
In line with consumer guidance such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement and disclosure rules and similar expectations in other markets, here is the disclosure in plain terms:
LoungeDeal contains affiliate and partner links. If you click a link and book or buy a lounge, pass, membership, or travel product, we may receive a commission or booking fee at no additional cost to you. We only earn when a qualifying booking is completed. This revenue helps keep LoungeDeal free, and it does not influence the facts, coverage, or ratings in our lounge database.
8. Third parties and their terms
When you book through a partner, lounge operator, access network, or payment provider, that third party may apply its own terms, prices, and policies. We do not control those services, and the commercial relationship we have with them does not change the entry rules, availability, or conditions the third party sets.
For full detail on bookings, refunds, and responsibilities, see our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
9. Your rights
Nothing in this disclosure limits any consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees and statutory rights that apply to you. Where relevant, our governing-law and dispute terms are set out in our Terms and Conditions, which are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
