Terminal 1 has four of Barcelona's lounges. Sala VIP Pau Casals serves Schengen gates A–C, Sala VIP Joan Miró serves non-Schengen gates D and E, Sala VIP Colomer is reserved for Barcelona–Madrid shuttle passengers, and Sleep & Fly Business Center sits landside before security.
- —Sala VIP Pau Casals, level 2 Schengen area: 04:30 until the last flight
- —Sala VIP Joan Miró, level 2 non-Schengen areas D and E: 05:00 until the last flight
- —Sala VIP Colomer, first floor shuttle corridor: 06:00–21:00, Madrid shuttle boarding pass needed
- —Sleep & Fly Business Center, landside first floor: 07:00–22:00
Terminal 2 (T2)
Terminal 2 has one lounge, Sala VIP Canudas, airside on level 1 (P1) in boarding area U. The building is a shuttle-bus ride from T1 with no airside connection, so T2 passengers cannot use the T1 lounges after security.

How to get lounge access at Barcelona Airport
Every lounge at Barcelona Airport is a shared lounge, so access comes from a pass or a membership rather than one airline. All five take Priority Pass and DragonPass and can be booked on LoungeDeal; the four Aena Sala VIP lounges also sell entry at the door, and two of them admit SkyTeam Elite Plus members.
LoungeDeal pass
LoungeDeal sells passes for all five Barcelona lounges, including Sala VIP Canudas in T2 and the landside Sleep & Fly Business Center. The live price shows in the booking flow before you pay. Colomer still needs a Barcelona–Madrid shuttle boarding pass.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass covers all five Barcelona lounges: Pau Casals, Joan Miró and Colomer in T1, Canudas in T2 and the landside Sleep & Fly Business Center, which Priority Pass lists as Premium VIP Lounge. Pick by terminal and by Schengen or non-Schengen gate.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the same five lounges as Priority Pass, so either membership covers every lounge at BCN. The Colomer shuttle-only rule applies to members too.
SkyTeam status or business ticket
SkyTeam Elite Plus members and SkyTeam business or first-class passengers can use Sala VIP Pau Casals for Schengen flights and Sala VIP Joan Miró for non-Schengen flights. Other airlines' eligibility depends on each carrier's contract with Aena, so check with your airline.
Paid entry at the door
Aena sells entry at the door of Pau Casals, Joan Miró, Colomer and Canudas, subject to space. Sleep & Fly Business Center does not list door sales; use a membership or a LoungeDeal pass there.
Barcelona Airport lounge tips
Pick by gate letter
- —Gates A, B and C in T1 are Schengen: use Sala VIP Pau Casals.
- —Gates D and E in T1 are non-Schengen: use Sala VIP Joan Miró, after passport control.
- —Pau Casals and Joan Miró are on opposite sides of passport control, so you cannot visit both on one trip.
The Colomer rule
- —Sala VIP Colomer only admits passengers on a Barcelona–Madrid air shuttle (Puente Aéreo) flight.
- —It sits on the shuttle corridor on T1's first floor, opposite the Air Shuttle kiosk, and closes at 21:00.
- —Flying anywhere else from a Schengen gate? Pau Casals is the lounge to book.
Terminal 2
- —Sala VIP Canudas is T2's only lounge, in boarding area U on level 1.
- —It closes at 23:00, earlier than the T1 lounges that stay open until the last flight.
- —T1 and T2 are linked by a landside shuttle bus only, so check your terminal before you set off.
Before security
- —Sleep & Fly Business Center is the only landside lounge at BCN, on T1's first floor near the shuttle corridor.
- —It opens 07:00–22:00, useful for a long wait before check-in or after an early arrival.
- —Priority Pass lists it under the name Premium VIP Lounge, so look for either name.
