The Sala Urdaibai is the newer of Bilbao Airport's two Aena VIP lounges, sitting airside in the boarding area of the single passenger terminal. It's used as the premium space for business-class passengers and eligible alliance-status frequent flyers — depending on your airline, that can mean oneworld Sapphire, Star Alliance Gold or SkyTeam Elite Plus, plus a business-class ticket. The lounge has a contemporary look with subtle Basque touches, plush seating in intimate groupings, soft lighting and apron views. Facilities include a hot buffet, a bar with soft and alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, a business centre and flight information screens. It's a calm, professional space, well suited to relaxing or getting a little work done before a short-haul European departure out of Bilbao.
