The Ahlein Emerald Lounge is the Terminal 2 option on Priority Pass and DragonPass, airside above the duty-free area. A reliable independent choice for international departures from T2 without airline status.
Alioth Lounge
The Alioth Lounge is EgyptAir's flagship Terminal 3 lounge for first and business passengers and Star Alliance Gold members, open around the clock by the F gates — the most consistent branded experience at CAI.

Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is Cairo's main international terminal, handling SkyTeam, Star Alliance and other long-haul carriers, and it holds the densest cluster of lounges. The independents sit airside on the upper floors above the duty-free area — the Pearl Lounge, the Saudia Alfursan and Emirates branded lounges, the Ahlein Emerald Lounge on Priority Pass and DragonPass, and a Plaza Premium / CAC operated First Class Lounge.

Terminal 3
Terminal 3 is EgyptAir's home and the Star Alliance terminal at Cairo. EgyptAir runs its star-named lounges here — Alioth, Gienah, Almeisan and El Teir — for first, business and Star Alliance Gold passengers, all open around the clock near the F and G gates. The Ahlein Premium Lounge adds the widest independent access, taking Priority Pass, DragonPass and all three major alliances.

Seasonal Terminal
Cairo's Seasonal Terminal handles extra EgyptAir charter and peak-period departures. The LOLOA Lounge serves EgyptAir passengers using this terminal, on the same level as the departure area past the Alioth Lounge near Gate F10.

How to get into lounges at CAI.
Cairo splits cleanly between airline lounges and independents. EgyptAir runs its own Star Alliance lounges in Terminal 3, and Saudia and Emirates have branded lounges in Terminal 2. For everyone else, the Ahlein Premium (T3) and Ahlein Emerald (T2) lounges accept Priority Pass and DragonPass, and several lounges sell walk-in entry. Always check which terminal your lounge is in before clearing immigration and security.

Priority Pass is accepted at the Ahlein Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 and the Ahlein Emerald Lounge in Terminal 2, along with the Plaza Premium / CAC operated First Class Lounge. Confirm your specific lounge and terminal before you travel.

EgyptAir runs its Star Alliance lounges (Alioth, Gienah, Almeisan, El Teir and LOLOA) in Terminal 3 and the Seasonal Terminal for first, business and Star Alliance Gold passengers. EmiratesWalk-in day pass
Several Cairo lounges sell entry at the door regardless of class, including the Plaza Premium / CAC First Class Lounge in Terminal 2, so you can pay per visit without a membership. Booking ahead is usually cheaper than paying on arrival.

Match the terminal to your airline
- —EgyptAir and Star Alliance flights leave from Terminal 3 — that's where the Alioth, Gienah, Almeisan and El Teir lounges are.
- —Most other international carriers, including SkyTeam and Saudia, use Terminal 2, which holds the Pearl, Saudia Alfursan and Emirates lounges.
- —Cairo's terminals are separate buildings, so pick your lounge based on your departure terminal before you check in.
Independent access at Cairo
- —If you don't have airline status, the Ahlein Premium (T3) and Ahlein Emerald (T2) lounges are the ones that take Priority Pass and DragonPass.
- —The Plaza Premium / CAC operated First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 sells walk-in entry to all passengers regardless of class.
- —At the Ahlein Premium Lounge, showers, spa and a VIP private room are extra — the standard lounge access doesn't include them.
