International Terminal
Christchurch's International Terminal handles long-haul and trans-Tasman departures and holds two of the airport's three lounges. The Air New Zealand International Lounge serves Star Alliance status and Business Class passengers after security and immigration, while the independent Manaia Lounge — airside opposite Gate 29 — welcomes DragonPass members. Domestic Terminal
Christchurch's Domestic Terminal serves flights within New Zealand and holds the Air New Zealand Domestic Lounge, on the second floor near Gate 16. It serves Star Alliance Gold status holders and Business Class passengers, with views toward the Southern Alps. If you're connecting from a domestic to an international flight, you'll change terminals.

How to get into lounges at CHC.
Access at Christchurch is straightforward: the two Air New Zealand lounges run on airline status and premium cabins, while the independent Manaia Lounge in the International Terminal opens up to DragonPass members. Check which terminal your flight leaves from before you choose, as the terminals don't connect airside.

Star Alliance Gold status holders flying an eligible Air New Zealand or partner flight can use the Air New Zealand lounges in both the International and Domestic terminals. Bring your status card and boarding pass.
