Christchurch's flagship airline lounge for long-haul and trans-Tasman departures.
The Air New Zealand International Lounge is Christchurch Airport's flagship airline lounge, on the departure level of the International Terminal near Gate 25, after security and immigration. It welcomes passengers flying in Business Class or holding Star Alliance Gold status on an eligible Air New Zealand or partner flight. The space has a refined yet relaxed atmosphere with a distinctly Kiwi flair — modern decor, natural wood accents, comfortable leather seating and New Zealand artwork, with both communal areas and quieter corners for privacy. The food and drink run to a complimentary hot and cold buffet and a full bar, and there are showers, workstations, a TV area, Wi-Fi and flight information screens. Noise levels stay pleasantly low, making it a comfortable place to settle before a long-haul or trans-Tasman flight. Opening hours follow the flight schedule.

A solid spot to work before a long flight, with a dedicated workstation area, desktop PCs, Wi-Fi and internet access alongside quieter seating. Better equipped for productivity than a typical buffet lounge.

A complimentary hot and cold buffet paired with a full bar — hot dishes, a cold spread and snacks alongside wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, plus hot beverages. A proper sit-down spread for a long-haul or trans-Tasman departure rather than a snack-only offering.
