The JAL Diamond Premier Lounge at Fukuoka Airport is the higher tier of JAL's two domestic lounges, sitting above the adjacent Sakura Lounge. It was remodelled in March 2017 to JAL's 'Japan's appearance' design, a concept by Japanese interior designers Ryu Kosaka and Hironori Takeuchi, giving it a modern but timeless feel. The lounge offers comfortable seating with power outlets at every seat and a fuller food selection than the Sakura — sandwiches, miso soup, manjiro pumpkin soup and baked curry bread — alongside a wide selection of complimentary alcoholic beverages. It serves JAL First Class passengers and top-tier oneworld Emerald members, with pay-in access also available.
