Maputo Airport Lounges
Maputo International Airport · Maputo, Mozambique
Maputo International (MPM) is Mozambique's main gateway, and we track seven lounges across its international and domestic terminals. Most are reachable on lounge memberships — DragonPass and Priority Pass open the Executivo 2000 lounges, while SkyTeam, Star Alliance and oneworld status cover the airline-aligned options. Coverage is concentrated on the international side.

This guide is compiled from airline, alliance and lounge-operator sources plus published access rules from Priority Pass and DragonPass — we haven't independently visited every Maputo International Airport lounge yet. Nothing here is a paid placement, and the guide is updated as lounges open, close, renovate or change access policies. Read more about how we verify lounge data.

Where we'd actually go.
Executivo 2000
Executivo 2000 in the International Terminal has the widest access of any Maputo lounge — both DragonPass and Priority Pass get you in — and sits airside after passport control, so it works for the most travellers without a specific airline or alliance.
Executivo 2000
The International Terminal Executivo 2000 is the one MPM lounge on the Priority Pass network, opposite Gate 1 in the main departure hall. If you carry Priority Pass, this is your lounge at Maputo.
LAM
The LAM lounge is the home lounge of Mozambique's national carrier, LAM, serving Star Alliance passengers and eligible status holders. A warm, locally styled space and the most consistent branded-airline experience at Maputo.
Executivo 2000 - Partidas Domesticas
Executivo 2000 - Partidas Domesticas is the airside option in the Domestic Terminal, reachable on DragonPass. If you're flying within Mozambique rather than internationally, this is the lounge to head for.

International Terminal
Maputo's international side holds most of the airport's lounges. The Executivo 2000 lounge here is the membership all-rounder, sitting airside after passport control and security and accepting both DragonPass and Priority Pass. Airline and alliance lounges — LAM (Star Alliance), Pearl Lounge (oneworld), Flamingo Lounge (SkyTeam) and FNB (Star Alliance) — serve their own premium-cabin and status passengers, while the Bomgarfo Lounge is reachable on DragonPass.
- —Densest cluster of lounges at MPM, almost all airside after passport control
- —Executivo 2000 is the only lounge on both DragonPass and Priority Pass
- —Airline and alliance lounges cover SkyTeam, Star Alliance and oneworld
- —Bomgarfo Lounge adds a further DragonPass option
Domestic Terminal
Maputo's domestic operation has its own lounge: Executivo 2000 - Partidas Domesticas, airside on the first floor next to the restaurant after passport control and security. Coverage on the domestic side is thinner than international, and this is the airside option, reachable on DragonPass.

How to get into lounges at MPM.
Maputo is a lounge-membership airport first and foremost — DragonPass opens the most lounges, and Priority Pass reaches the headline Executivo 2000 in the International Terminal. Airline and alliance access is limited to a few branded lounges: SkyTeam, Star Alliance and oneworld status each cover one or two. Always check whether your lounge is on the international or domestic side before you clear passport control.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the widest set of MPM lounges, including the Executivo 2000 lounges in both the International and Domestic Terminals and the Bomgarfo Lounge. It's the single most useful membership to carry at Maputo.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass works at the International Terminal Executivo 2000, opposite Gate 1 in the main departure hall. Coverage is narrower than DragonPass here, so confirm the per-lounge page before relying on it.
Airline & alliance lounges
Star Alliance status reaches the LAM and FNB lounges, SkyTeam the Flamingo Lounge, and oneworld the Pearl Lounge. Access follows your ticket and frequent-flyer tier, so match your lounge to your alliance.
Business & First class ticket
A premium-cabin ticket on an alliance carrier flying out of Maputo gets you into the matching lounge directly — for example LAM and Star Alliance partners use the LAM lounge. The simplest route if you're flying business out of MPM.
Know before you go.
Lead with DragonPass
- —DragonPass covers more MPM lounges than Priority Pass — if you carry only one, it's the better bet here.
- —Several Maputo lounges are airline- or alliance-branded, so your frequent-flyer tier matters as much as any membership.
- —The Executivo 2000 lounges (international and domestic) are the membership all-rounders.
International vs domestic
- —Most lounges are on the international side, airside after passport control and security.
- —The Domestic Terminal has its own Executivo 2000 lounge, airside on the first floor.
- —If you're connecting domestic-to-international, you'll change terminals — plan the transfer time.
Match your alliance
- —Star Alliance flyers head for the LAM or FNB lounges; LAM is Mozambique Airlines' home lounge.
- —SkyTeam status opens the Flamingo Lounge; oneworld opens the Pearl Lounge.
- —Check your specific lounge before clearing passport control, as airside lounges sit beyond the checkpoint.
Give yourself time
- —Maputo's international banks can fill the lounges around departure peaks — arrive early if you want a seat.
- —Clear check-in, passport control and security first; the airside lounges sit beyond the checkpoint.
- —The lounges are calm, locally styled spaces — a comfortable spot to settle before a flight.
