How to get lounge access at Melbourne Airport
Getting into a Melbourne lounge depends on your terminal. Terminal 2 has the international lounges and the only ones anyone can book, Terminal 1 is all Qantas, Terminal 3 is Virgin Australia and Terminal 4 has the REX Lounge. Pick a lounge in the terminal your flight leaves from.
Book a lounge pass
In Terminal 2 you can book a LoungeDeal pass for Aspire, Marhaba or Plaza Premium, whatever airline you fly. The current price shows on each lounge before you pay.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass covers four Melbourne lounges: the Aspire, Marhaba and Plaza Premium lounges in Terminal 2, and the REX Lounge in Terminal 4. None of the Qantas, Star Alliance or Emirates lounges accept it.
DragonPass
DragonPass members can use Aspire Lounge and Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 2.
Airline & alliance status
Qantas and oneworld status opens the Qantas lounges in Terminals 1 and 2 (Emerald for International First), and Marhaba Lounge also admits oneworld Sapphire and SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Star Alliance Gold members use the Air New Zealand and SilverKris lounges.
American Express
The Centurion Lounge in Terminal 2 admits eligible American Express Platinum and Centurion Card Members with a same-day boarding pass. It is a separate benefit from any Priority Pass membership that comes with the card.
Chairman's and Beyond
The Qantas Chairman's Lounge and the Virgin Australia Beyond Lounge are invitation-only. Neither can be bought, booked or reached through status, cards or lounge programs.
