ITA Airways Runway Lounge
★3.3(117 reviews)LIN
Linate's flagship airline lounge — rebuilt in 2025 with panoramic runway views and a fuselage feature.
The ITA Airways Runway Lounge is Milan Linate's flagship lounge and the latest incarnation of the former Casa Alitalia and Piazza Della Scala lounge. It wasn't just renamed — the club was expanded and remodelled from the ground up and reopened in May 2025, now spreading across 482 square metres and accommodating up to 125 guests. That scale reflects Linate's growing importance in ITA Airways' network following Lufthansa's acquisition of the Italian flag carrier. The design builds on ITA's Hangar Lounge at Rome Fiumicino, using the same blue and neutral tones, but the Runway Lounge has a standout feature of its own: a fake airplane fuselage fitted with LCD screens as windows. True to its name, it also has real panoramic windows looking out over the runway. The name itself is a play on words — a nod to Milan as a capital of fashion and a reference to aviation.
