Monteverdi Classic Lounge
The Monteverdi Classic Lounge in Terminal 1's Schengen area is the most flexible way in at Malpensa — it takes DragonPass, Priority Pass and Star Alliance status, and welcomes pay-in guests too. Remodelled in 2023 and sitting close to the A gates, it suits the widest range of travellers without needing a specific airline or card.
Gae Aulenti Premium Lounge
The Gae Aulenti Premium Lounge is Malpensa's pay-per-visit standout — the former Casa Alitalia space in Terminal 1's extra-Schengen pier, kept with its elegant design, a generous hot buffet, full bar and shower rooms. You pay at the door, so you don't need status or a membership to get in.
The Emirates Lounge
The Emirates Lounge is the flagship branded experience at MXP, seating 158 guests across 929 square metres with leather armchairs, mahogany furniture and direct boarding. It serves Emirates First and Business Class passengers and eligible Skywards members flying out of Malpensa.
Lufthansa Lounge
The Lufthansa Lounge in Terminal 1A's Schengen Area A was remodelled in 2018 to Lufthansa's newer design, and serves Star Alliance premium-cabin passengers and eligible status holders — the most consistent Star Alliance option at Malpensa.

Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is Malpensa's main building and holds almost all of its lounges, spread across the Schengen and non-Schengen (extra-Schengen) piers. The SEA-run Classic lounges (Monteverdi by the A gates, Pergolesi by the B gates) take DragonPass, Priority Pass and pay-in guests; the Montale Exclusive Lounge covers Priority Pass in the satellite B area; the Lufthansa lounges serve Star Alliance; and the Gae Aulenti Premium Lounge and Emirates Lounge sit in the extra-Schengen pier. All are airside after security.

Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is Malpensa's low-cost terminal, home to easyJet and a smaller share of traffic. Lounge coverage is thin here — the Alda Merini Classic Lounge is the only option, sitting airside near Gate D22 and reachable on DragonPass, Priority Pass or as a pay-in guest. Terminal 2 is a separate building from Terminal 1, so pick your lounge to match the terminal you're flying from.

How to get into lounges at MXP.
Malpensa leans heavily on DragonPass and Priority Pass — the SEA-run Classic lounges in both terminals accept both memberships and also welcome pay-in guests, which makes them the most reliable way in for most travellers. Airline access is narrower: Lufthansa and Star Alliance partners use the Lufthansa lounges, Emirates has its own dedicated lounge, and the Gae Aulenti Premium Lounge sells walk-in entry. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and on the Schengen or non-Schengen pier, before clearing security.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the SEA Classic lounges — Monteverdi and Pergolesi in Terminal 1 and Alda Merini in Terminal 2. It's one of the two most useful memberships at Malpensa, covering the same core lounges as Priority Pass.

Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2
- —Almost every Malpensa lounge is in Terminal 1 — Terminal 2 has just the Alda Merini Classic Lounge, near Gate D22.
- —The two terminals are separate buildings linked by a free shuttle, so pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from before clearing security.
- —Terminal 2 is the low-cost terminal (easyJet and others); most full-service and long-haul flights leave from Terminal 1.
Schengen vs non-Schengen
- —Terminal 1 splits into Schengen and non-Schengen (extra-Schengen) piers — your lounge sits on one side, so check which before you go through.
- —Monteverdi is by the Schengen A gates; Pergolesi, Montale Exclusive, Gae Aulenti Premium and Emirates are in the non-Schengen/extra-Schengen B area.
- —If you're flying within the Schengen zone you won't reach the non-Schengen lounges, and vice versa.
