Pune Airport Lounges

Pune Airport · Pune, India

Pune Airport (PNQ) keeps its lounge scene simple — every lounge here is an Elysian, all reached on DragonPass. One sits airside in the new integrated terminal for international departures, and two more serve domestic flyers airside in Terminal 1. There are no airline or Priority Pass lounges, so DragonPass or a paid day pass is the way in.

About PNQ

Pune Airport (PNQ) keeps things simple when it comes to lounges: every lounge is an Elysian, and every one is reached on DragonPass. The Elysian Lounge - International sits airside past immigration in the new integrated terminal building, the natural stop before an international departure. On the domestic side, Terminal 1 holds two more Elysian lounges, both airside after security — the Executive Lounge by Gate 6 next to the kids' play zone, and the quieter Elysian Lounge - Domestic on level 1 behind the KFC near Gates 2 and 3. There are no airline, alliance or Priority Pass lounges here, so DragonPass is the membership that matters; if you don't hold it, the lounges also sell a paid day pass so you can pay per visit. All three run a two-hour maximum stay and a hot and cold buffet that leans towards Indian dishes. Because the international and domestic lounges sit in different terminals that don't connect airside, choose the lounge in the terminal you're actually flying from.

How we compile this guide

Sourced, never sponsored.

This guide is compiled from airline, alliance and lounge-operator sources plus published access rules from Priority Pass and DragonPass — we haven't independently visited every Pune Airport lounge yet. Nothing here is a paid placement, and the guide is updated as lounges open, close, renovate or change access policies. Read more about how we verify lounge data.

Where we'd actually go.

Best for International

Elysian Lounge - International

The Elysian Lounge - International is the only lounge on the international side at Pune, airside past immigration in the new integrated terminal building. It runs on DragonPass, serves a hot and cold spread with wine, beer and spirits, and is the natural pre-flight stop before a long-haul or regional international departure.

Best for Families

Elysian Executive Lounge - Domestic

The Elysian Executive Lounge - Domestic sits airside in Terminal 1 by Gate 6, next to the kids' play zone, making it the easiest domestic option if you're travelling with children. DragonPass access, a hot Indian-leaning buffet, and a bar with wine, beer and spirits round it out.

Best Quiet Pick

Elysian Lounge - Domestic

The Elysian Lounge - Domestic is the calmer domestic Terminal 1 option, airside behind the KFC near Gates 2 and 3. It's a quiet, modern space on DragonPass with hot and cold food; note it doesn't serve alcohol, so it leans more relaxed than the Executive lounge nearby.

Access guide

How to get into lounges at PNQ.

Pune is a DragonPass airport — all three Elysian lounges are reached on a DragonPass membership, and there are no airline, alliance or Priority Pass lounges here. If you don't hold DragonPass, the lounges also sell entry as a paid day pass, so you can still pay per visit. Check whether you're flying international (new integrated terminal) or domestic (Terminal 1), as the lounges are split between them and don't connect airside.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is the primary way in at Pune — it's accepted at all three Elysian lounges, the international lounge in the new integrated terminal and both domestic lounges in Terminal 1. It's the single most useful membership to carry here.

Walk-in day pass

The Elysian lounges also sell paid entry, so you can buy a day pass and pay per visit without a membership. Booking ahead where possible is usually cheaper than paying at the door, and there's a two-hour maximum stay.

Cards that include DragonPass

DragonPass is bundled with a range of credit cards and bank programmes. If your card includes DragonPass lounge access, it covers the Elysian lounges at Pune — check your card's terms and guest allowance before you travel.

DragonPass
Insider tips

Know before you go.

01

Lead with DragonPass

  • Every lounge at Pune is an Elysian on DragonPass — there are no airline or Priority Pass lounges, so DragonPass is the membership that matters here.
  • No DragonPass? The lounges sell paid entry, so you can still pay per visit at the door.
  • There's a two-hour maximum stay across the Elysian lounges, so time your arrival to your departure.
02

International vs domestic

  • The international lounge is in the new integrated terminal, airside past immigration near Departure Gate 1A; the two domestic lounges are airside in Terminal 1.
  • The terminals don't share airside space, so use the lounge in the terminal you're actually flying from.
  • If you're connecting domestic-to-international, plan for the terminal change rather than expecting one lounge to cover both.
03

Picking a domestic lounge

  • Travelling with kids? The Elysian Executive Lounge is by Gate 6 next to the kids' play zone in Terminal 1.
  • Want a quieter sit-down? The Elysian Lounge - Domestic behind the KFC near Gates 2 and 3 is the calmer of the two.
  • The Executive Lounge serves wine, beer and spirits; the other domestic Elysian does not pour alcohol.
04

Food and timing

  • The lounges run a hot and cold buffet that leans towards Indian dishes, with vegetarian options at all three.
  • Hot food is freshest at the start of a meal service — arrive a little before the rush for the best of it.
  • Flight announcements can be soft inside the lounge, so keep an eye on the flight-information screens.
