Rizhao Shanzihe Airport Lounges
Shanzihe Airport · Rizhao City, China Mainland
Rizhao Shanzihe Airport (RIZ) is a small single-terminal gateway on China's Shandong coast, and both of its lounges sit airside after the security check. The First Class Lounge is reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass, while the Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge is DragonPass-only — and both look out over the runway.

This guide is compiled from airline, alliance and lounge-operator sources plus published access rules from Priority Pass and DragonPass — we haven't independently visited every Shanzihe Airport lounge yet. Nothing here is a paid placement, and the guide is updated as lounges open, close, renovate or change access policies. Read more about how we verify lounge data.

Where we'd actually go.
First Class Lounge
The First Class Lounge has the widest access at Rizhao — both DragonPass and Priority Pass get you in — and sits airside on the terminal's second floor with floor-to-ceiling windows over the tarmac. With Wi-Fi, snacks, soft drinks and massage chairs, it's the easiest lounge to use at RIZ.
Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge
The Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge is a calm DragonPass option by Gate 1, with a charging station, Wi-Fi and a runway view. A good airside alternative if the First Class Lounge is busy and you carry DragonPass.
First Class Lounge
For a quiet wind-down before a flight, the First Class Lounge pairs floor-to-ceiling tarmac windows with massage chairs and soft, warm lighting. Its low noise levels and clustered armchairs make it the more restful of Rizhao's two airside lounges.

Shanzihe Airport lounges by terminal.
Main Terminal
Rizhao Shanzihe is a single-terminal airport, and both of its lounges are airside, past the security check. The First Class Lounge is on the second floor opposite Gate 7 and takes DragonPass and Priority Pass; the Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge sits by Gate 1 and is DragonPass-only. Both are independent contract lounges rather than airline-branded, and both overlook the runway.

How to get into lounges at RIZ.
Rizhao is a DragonPass and Priority Pass airport — there are no airline or alliance lounges here, so a lounge membership is the way in. DragonPass covers both lounges, Priority Pass covers one, and both lounges are independent contract lounges sitting airside after security.
DragonPass
DragonPass is the most useful membership at Rizhao — it's accepted at both the First Class Lounge and the Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge. If you only carry one card, this is the one that opens every lounge at RIZ.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass is accepted at the First Class Lounge, the airside lounge on the terminal's second floor by Gate 7. It does not cover the Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge, so check the per-lounge page before you travel.
Pay-per-visit entry
Both Rizhao lounges are marked as purchasable, so pay-per-visit entry can be possible at the door subject to capacity. Guest policies and any walk-in rate are set by the lounge, so confirm on arrival.
Know before you go.
Lead with DragonPass
- —DragonPass covers both RIZ lounges, while Priority Pass only opens the First Class Lounge — DragonPass is the better single card here.
- —Both lounges are independent contract lounges, not airline-branded, so the membership matters more than which airline you're flying.
Find them airside
- —Clear the security check first — both lounges are airside, past the checkpoint.
- —The First Class Lounge is up on the second floor opposite Gate 7; the Xinghe Guoji VIP Lounge is by Gate 1.
- —Rizhao is a compact terminal, so the walk from security to either lounge is short.
Set your expectations
- —These are small regional lounges — expect snacks, soft drinks and Wi-Fi rather than a full hot buffet or bar.
- —Both lounges cap your stay at around two hours, so time your visit to your departure.
- —Both have floor-to-ceiling windows over the runway if you want to watch the aircraft.
Before you go
- —Have your boarding pass and lounge membership ready at the door to speed up entry.
- —Bring a universal adapter — power is available but some seats may need one.
- —Flight announcements can be quiet inside, so keep an eye on the information screens.
