Rockhampton's only lounge — a rebuilt 200sqm Qantas Club with tarmac views.

About this lounge

The Qantas Club is the sole lounge at Rockhampton Airport, sitting after security in the airport's single domestic terminal, on the ground floor near check-in. It was rebuilt and reopened in late 2022 after a long COVID-era closure, emerging at roughly double its former size — a 200-square-metre lounge seating around 65 guests, with a bird's-eye view over the tarmac. The space is set up for both relaxing and working before a flight, with comfortable seating, dedicated work areas with high tables, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Catering is a relaxed pre-flight offering rather than full dining: complimentary snacks alongside premium Australian beer and wine, plus soft drinks and tea and coffee. Access runs through Qantas Club membership, Qantas Gold, Platinum and Platinum One status, or an eligible oneworld frequent-flyer tier on a qualifying flight — there is no pay-per-visit or walk-in route, and no other lounge at the airport.

A genuinely workable regional lounge, with dedicated work areas with high tables, high-speed Wi-Fi and power at the work zones. Comfortable for email and laptop work before a flight, though it's a regional lounge rather than a dedicated business space.

A relaxed pre-flight offering rather than full dining — complimentary sweet and savoury snacks alongside premium Australian beer and wine, plus soft drinks, tea and coffee. It's set up to keep you comfortable before a regional flight rather than to serve a full meal.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Yes — the Qantas Club is the only lounge at Rockhampton (ROK), in the single domestic terminal after security. There are no independent, Priority Pass or walk-in lounges at the airport.

No. The Qantas Club at Rockhampton is membership- and status-based, not pay-per-visit. Access is via Qantas Club membership, eligible Qantas frequent-flyer status, or an eligible oneworld tier on a qualifying flight.

The lounge follows the flight schedule: it opens about an hour before each Qantas service and closes after the last Qantas departure, so it can be closed between flights on quieter days.
