Qantas International First LoungeSydney Airport (SYD)
SYD · Terminal 1 · airside
Qantas's flagship lounge, with a sit-down restaurant and a spa, for First Class passengers and Platinum and oneworld Emerald members.
The Qantas International First Lounge is Qantas's flagship lounge and the top lounge in Sydney's Terminal 1. It is airside past immigration: you enter on Level 3 and take the escalator up to the lounge on Level 4. Qantas lists restaurant dining alongside lounge dining, bar service and a barista, plus showers, a spa, a library, meeting rooms, a private suite and Wi-Fi. Hours are 05:00 to 22:00 daily. Entry is for oneworld International First Class customers, Qantas Platinum One and Platinum Frequent Flyers travelling on QF, oneworld or EK flight numbers with 1 guest, and oneworld Emerald members. Priority Pass, DragonPass and paid day passes are not accepted. If you qualify, plan to arrive early: a sit-down meal in the restaurant and a spa visit are the reasons to come, and both take time.
Crowding · moderate
Meeting rooms, a library and Wi-Fi make this the best Qantas option in Terminal 1 for getting work done before a flight.
This is the lounge in Sydney for a proper meal. Qantas runs restaurant dining as well as lounge dining, with bar service and a barista, so you can sit down for a full meal before a long flight rather than grazing from a buffet.
After passport control and security in Terminal 1, find the lounge entrance on Level 3 and take the escalator up to the lounge on Level 4. Sydney Airport describes it as the Level 3 mezzanine, reached by escalator and lift.
