Singapore Airlines' own Sydney lounge, and the Star Alliance pick in Terminal 1, with a barista, a bartender and views toward Botany Bay.
The Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge is the airline's own lounge in Sydney and the main Star Alliance lounge in Terminal 1. It is airside on Level 3, after customs, near Gate 59. Singapore Airlines lists warm food and snacks, a barista and a bartender, Wi-Fi, a shower, TV and accessible restrooms. The space has a large seating area, a dining room and private productivity pods, and the windows look past the tarmac toward Botany Bay. It was refreshed in August 2024 with new furniture and carpets, and a custom batik screen greets you in the foyer next to art sourced in Australia and Singapore. Hours are 06:00 to 19:00 daily; Sydney Airport lists a 05:30 opening from 26 October 2026. Our take: for a Star Alliance Gold member on a daytime departure, this is the Terminal 1 lounge to head for.
Crowding · moderate
Private productivity pods make this one of the better Terminal 1 lounges for a call or a focused hour of work. Wi-Fi covers the lounge.
Food is a step above snacks: Singapore Airlines lists warm food, and there is a hot and cold buffet with a separate dining room to eat it in. The drinks side is the stronger half, with a barista for coffee and a bartender running a complimentary full bar.
