About this lounge

The Sky Lounge is Vienna Airport's most flexible lounge for travellers who don't fly Austrian Airlines or hold Star Alliance status. It sits airside in the main terminal — after the security check you turn left, take the lift or stairs to level 2, then head right towards the F gates. It accepts both DragonPass and Priority Pass, which makes it the default membership lounge at VIE. Inside, the contemporary space mixes comfortable seating zones with a hot and cold buffet, a full bar with house wine, beer and spirits, plus showers, massage chairs and Wi-Fi. The lounge is open from early morning to late evening to cover Vienna's first and last departure banks, with a maximum stay of around three hours. Travellers heading to non-Schengen destinations pass through passport control on the way to their gate after visiting.

Insider tips

Make the most of it.

01

The Sky Lounge takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass, so either membership gets you in.

02

If you're flying Austrian Airlines in business class, the Austrian lounge in your departure area is the better match.

03

Use the showers if you've just landed off a long-haul connection — they're a real asset here.

04

The maximum stay is around three hours, so time your arrival rather than camping out all layover.

05

Heading non-Schengen? You'll clear passport control on the way to your gate after the lounge.
