Accessibility
We want LoungeDeal to be usable by every traveler, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page explains the standard we aim for, what we have built, where we still fall short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Travel is stressful enough. Finding lounge hours, access rules, and the right entrance should not be the hard part of your day. We design LoungeDeal so that the same information is available whether you read it on a screen, hear it through a screen reader, or navigate it with a keyboard.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a finished checkbox. We treat barriers people report as real problems to fix, and we keep working on the parts of the experience that are not there yet.
Our commitment
We are committed to making LoungeDeal usable for as many travelers as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We consider accessibility throughout how we design, write, and build the site, not as a step added at the end.
When we learn that part of LoungeDeal is hard or impossible to use, we treat that as a quality issue and prioritize it alongside our other work.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a target. This is a goal we work toward, not a certification or a guarantee that every page and feature fully conforms at all times.
Content changes often, and parts of LoungeDeal come from third parties we do not control, so conformance can vary across pages. We use WCAG 2.1 AA as the benchmark we measure ourselves against and the direction we keep moving in.
What we've done
Steps we have taken to make LoungeDeal more accessible include:
- -Using semantic HTML structure with meaningful headings, landmarks, and lists so the page reads in a logical order.
- -Supporting keyboard navigation for the main flows, so you can move through the site without a mouse.
- -Working on colour contrast in our mint and dark theme so that text and key controls remain legible.
- -Writing descriptive link text that makes sense on its own, rather than relying on "click here".
- -Adding alternative text to meaningful imagery so screen readers can describe it.
- -Honouring the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system or browser, so animations ease off when you ask them to.
Known limitations
We want to be honest about the gaps. Some parts of LoungeDeal may not fully conform to our target standard, including:
- -Third-party content such as lounge descriptions, images, and data supplied by external sources.
- -Embedded maps, which can be difficult to use with a keyboard or screen reader.
- -Partner booking and payment widgets, which are built and controlled by those partners.
Where a third-party component creates a barrier, we will do what we reasonably can and, when possible, offer an alternative way to get the same information or complete the same task. If you are stuck on any of these, please contact us and we will help.
Assistive technology
LoungeDeal is intended to work with common assistive technology, including screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation, on current versions of mainstream browsers and operating systems.
Because assistive technology, browsers, and devices behave differently and update frequently, we cannot guarantee a flawless experience in every combination. If a particular tool or setup does not work well for you, telling us helps us reproduce and fix the problem.
How to report an accessibility barrier
If you run into something on LoungeDeal that is hard or impossible to use, please email [email protected]. It helps if you can tell us the page or web address, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using, and what happened.
We aim to respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days. Where a fix takes longer, we will let you know and, where we can, suggest another way to get what you need in the meantime.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review feedback, test as we ship new features, and fold accessibility into our normal development process so the experience keeps getting better over time.
This statement will be updated as our practices and the site evolve. If anything here is unclear, or you have a suggestion, we would genuinely like to hear from you at [email protected].
