Finnair Lounge
The new Finnair Lounge, opened in July 2024 on the Schengen side, replaced the airline's legacy club with distinct work, dining and relaxation zones and panoramic tarmac views — the standout branded experience for Finnair and oneworld passengers at Helsinki.
Platinum Wing
The Finnair Platinum Wing on the non-Schengen side is the airline's top tier, reserved for Finnair Plus Platinum and oneworld Emerald members. A quieter, more exclusive space than the main Finnair business lounges.

Schengen Area (intra-Europe departures)
Helsinki operates from a single passenger terminal, and the dividing line that matters for lounges is Schengen versus non-Schengen. On the Schengen side, used for flights within most of Europe, you'll find the new Finnair Lounge, the Finnair Platinum corner and the OP Lounge by Aspire. All sit airside after security.

Non-Schengen Area (long-haul & non-Schengen departures)
The non-Schengen side handles long-haul and other non-Schengen flights, including most of Finnair's Asia and North America network. It holds the Plaza Premium Lounge, the Finnair Business Lounge, the Finnair Platinum Wing and the Aspire lounges near gates 13 and 27. This is where the widest access options sit, including Priority Pass and pay-in entry.

How to get into lounges at HEL.
Helsinki splits cleanly into two access routes. If you fly Finnair or another oneworld carrier in a premium cabin or with status, the Finnair lounges and Platinum Wing are your home. Everyone else leans on Priority Pass, LoungeKey or a walk-in day pass — the Plaza Premium Lounge and the three Aspire lounges cover that field. Always check whether your gate is on the Schengen or non-Schengen side before you settle in.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass is accepted at the Plaza Premium Lounge and at the Aspire lounges near gates 13 and 27 on the non-Schengen side. It's the single most useful membership for travellers without Finnair status at Helsinki.

The Aspire lounges near gates 13 and 27 also welcome LoungeKey members alongside Priority Pass and walk-in guests. The OP Lounge by Aspire is more restricted — only specific OP cardholders qualify, not general LoungeKey or Priority Pass members.

Finnair runs the bulk of Helsinki's lounges for oneworld passengers: the new Finnair Lounge and Platinum corner on the Schengen side, and the Finnair Business Lounge and Platinum Wing on the non-Schengen side. The Plaza Premium Lounge additionally accepts Star Alliance status.
