About TNA

Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) is the main gateway for Jinan, the capital of China's Shandong province, and a primarily domestic hub. All seven lounges we track sit in its single passenger terminal. Most are independent first-class and VIP lounges in the DragonPass and Priority Pass networks, with several also selling walk-in pay-in entry, plus a dedicated China Eastern lounge for SkyTeam premium passengers. The lounges are split between airside and landside — First-class Lounge No. 4 and the China Eastern Lounge sit after security, while VIP Area C and VIP Hall Zone C are before passport control — so check which side your lounge is on before you clear the checkpoint. DragonPass and Priority Pass between them open most of the field, and if you carry neither, several lounges welcome pay-in guests at the door.

How we compile this guide

Sourced, never sponsored.

This guide is compiled from airline, alliance and lounge-operator sources plus published access rules from Priority Pass and DragonPass — we haven't independently visited every Yaoqiang International Airport lounge yet. Nothing here is a paid placement, and the guide is updated as lounges open, close, renovate or change access policies. Read more about how we verify lounge data.

Access guide

How to get into lounges at TNA.

Jinan Yaoqiang is a lounge-membership airport first — DragonPass and Priority Pass between them open most of the field. Several first-class and VIP lounges also sell walk-in pay-in entry, so you can get in without a membership, and China Eastern runs a branded lounge for SkyTeam premium passengers. Check whether your lounge is airside or landside before you clear security, as the terminal has both.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at First-class Lounge No. 4 (airside, opposite Gate 16), the Guest Reception Counter at domestic departures and VIP Area C. It's the most useful single membership at TNA for the landside and airside contract lounges.

Walk-in pay-in

Insider tips

Know before you go.

01

Airside vs landside

  • TNA's lounges are split between airside and landside, so check before you clear security.
  • First-class Lounge No. 4 (opposite Gate 16) and the China Eastern Lounge (opposite Gate 22) are airside, after security.
  • VIP Area C and VIP Hall Zone C are landside, before passport control and security — handy if you arrive early.
02

Lead with DragonPass or Priority Pass

  • Most Jinan lounges are independent contract lounges, so the membership you carry matters more than your airline.
  • DragonPass opens the airside First-class Lounge No. 4 plus the landside reception and VIP Area C.
  • Priority Pass covers the pay-in first-class and VIP lounges — confirm your specific lounge on its page.
03

Pay per visit if you have neither

  • Several first-class and VIP lounges sell walk-in pay-in entry, so you can get in without any membership.
  • VIP Hall Zone C near the Fast Track lane takes walk-up guests as well as Priority Pass.
  • The No. 2 and No. 5 first-class lounges also welcome pay-in guests.
04

Timing at a domestic hub

  • Jinan is a mostly domestic airport, so lounges follow the domestic departure schedule rather than long-haul banks.
  • Airside lounge hours are roughly 06:00–21:00 — arrive within those windows for the First-class Lounge.
  • Give yourself time through domestic security at peak, especially around morning and early-evening departures.
