Schengen passengers in module D choose between Airport Lounge Europe on level 5 and the Air France KLM Lounge near gate D11.

Terminal 2 main building
Terminal 2 is Lufthansa's Munich base, and every lounge in it is a Lufthansa lounge for Star Alliance Gold members and premium-cabin passengers. On the Schengen side, the Lufthansa Lounge and Senator Lounge face gate G28, with the Senator Café next door; the non-Schengen Business Lounge faces gate H24.
- —Lufthansa Lounge and Senator Lounge opposite gate G28 (Schengen), 05:00–22:00 daily

- —Reached airside by the underground people mover from the main T2 building
- —Lufthansa Senator Lounge and Business Lounge serve satellite departures
- —Entry by Star Alliance Gold status or a same-day business-class ticket
How to get lounge access at Munich Airport
Munich splits cleanly by terminal. In Terminal 1, Priority Pass, DragonPass, SkyTeam and oneworld status and a LoungeDeal pass all have a lounge; in Terminal 2, only Star Alliance Gold status or a premium-cabin ticket gets you into a Lufthansa lounge. Match the lounge to your gate letter and Schengen status before you clear passport control.
LoungeDeal pass
Airport Lounge World, Airport Lounge Europe and the Air France KLM Lounge in Terminal 1 can be booked on LoungeDeal with no status or membership. The live price is shown on each lounge page, and each pass covers one visit.
Star Alliance Gold (Lufthansa)
Star Alliance Gold status opens the Lufthansa Senator and Business lounges in Terminal 2 and its satellite. It is the only status that works across T2, where most of Munich's lounges are.
Business and First Class ticket
A same-day Lufthansa or Star Alliance business-class ticket admits you to the Lufthansa lounges in Terminal 2. The Lufthansa First Class Lounge is reserved for First Class passengers.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass works at one Munich lounge: Airport Lounge World in the Terminal 1 Pier, for non-Schengen flights only. Schengen travellers and anyone flying from Terminal 2 have no Priority Pass lounge.
DragonPass
DragonPass covers all three Terminal 1 contract lounges: Airport Lounge World, Airport Lounge Europe and the Air France KLM Lounge. At Air France KLM it does not work between 15:00 and 20:00.
SkyTeam, oneworld and Emirates
SkyTeam Elite Plus opens the Air France KLM Lounge and Airport Lounge World; oneworld Sapphire opens Airport Lounge World. The Emirates Lounge takes Emirates First and Business, Skywards Gold and Platinum, and Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold and Platinum.
Munich Airport lounge tips
Read your gate letter first
- —T1 non-Schengen flights board at the A gates in the T1 Pier, where Airport Lounge World is; Schengen flights use module D, home to Airport Lounge Europe and Air France KLM.
- —In T2, G and K gates are Schengen and H and L gates are non-Schengen, and the Lufthansa lounges are split the same way.
- —A Priority Pass card only helps on a non-Schengen flight from T1.
Time your Terminal 1 visit
- —Airport Lounge World and Airport Lounge Europe admit you up to 3 hours before departure, not earlier.
- —The Air France KLM Lounge turns DragonPass holders away from 15:00 to 20:00 and does not admit under-21s.
- —The Emirates Lounge only opens around Emirates departures (11:40–15:20 and 18:30–22:15).
Lufthansa lounges in Terminal 2
- —The Lufthansa Lounge and Senator Lounge both face gate G28 on the Schengen side; the Business Lounge faces H24 for non-Schengen flights.
- —The Senator Café by gate G28 closes at 19:00 and is shut at weekends.
- —Departing from the satellite? Use its own Senator or Business Lounge instead of riding back to the main building.
