Munich Airport Lounges
Munich Airport · Munich, Germany
Munich Airport (MUC) is a Lufthansa and Star Alliance stronghold, so most of its 12 lounges are Lufthansa branded — Senator, Business and First Class lounges spread across Terminal 2 and its satellite. Terminal 1 adds the contract lounges, with Airport Lounge World on Priority Pass and the Air France KLM Lounge on DragonPass, plus an Emirates Lounge.

Airport Lounge World
Airport Lounge World in Terminal 1 is the standout pay-membership option at MUC — it's the only Munich lounge on Priority Pass, sits airside for non-Schengen and transit flights, and adds showers, a prayer room and a children's area. The default choice if you don't have Star Alliance status.
Lufthansa First Class Lounge
The Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 is the flagship experience at Munich, reserved for Lufthansa First Class passengers and HON Circle members, with a full-service restaurant rather than a buffet. The most exclusive lounge at the airport.
Lufthansa Senator Lounge Muc Schengen
The Lufthansa Senator Lounge by gate G24 is the largest Senator lounge in the Schengen zone at Munich, welcoming Star Alliance Gold members and Lufthansa Senators with a hot and cold buffet and a full bar. A solid pick for status passengers on Schengen departures.
Air France KLM Lounge
The Air France KLM Lounge in Terminal 1, remodelled in late 2022, takes DragonPass alongside SkyTeam and oneworld access. It's an intimate 227 sq.m. space near gate D11 for Schengen departures — a refined contract-lounge alternative on the T1 side.

Terminal 1
Terminal 1 handles non-Lufthansa carriers and is home to the contract and partner lounges at Munich. Airport Lounge World is the airside option for non-Schengen and transit flights and the only MUC lounge on Priority Pass, while the Air France KLM Lounge near gate D11 serves Schengen departures on SkyTeam, DragonPass and oneworld. The oneworld Europa Lounge sits in Departure Hall D, and the Emirates Lounge serves Emirates passengers.
- —Airport Lounge World is the only MUC lounge that accepts Priority Pass
- —Air France KLM Lounge takes SkyTeam, DragonPass and oneworld (Schengen, gate D11)
- —Europa Lounge (oneworld) is in Departure Hall D before security
- —The Emirates Lounge serves Emirates premium and Skywards passengers
Terminal 2 & Satellite
Terminal 2 is Lufthansa's Munich home and the Star Alliance hub, so its lounges are almost entirely Lufthansa branded and tiered by status. Senator and Business lounges sit by the gates in both the Schengen (G) and non-Schengen (H) areas of the main building and the satellite terminal, with a Senator Café for lighter service and a First Class Lounge for Lufthansa First and HON Circle. All require Star Alliance Gold status or a same-day premium-cabin ticket.
- —Lufthansa-only field — access by Star Alliance Gold status or a premium-cabin ticket
- —Senator lounges for Gold/Senator; Business lounges for Star Alliance Gold and business class
- —Lufthansa First Class Lounge for First passengers and HON Circle members
- —Lounges are split by Schengen (G gates) and non-Schengen (H gates), main building and satellite
Como entrar nas salas VIP em MUC.
Munich is a status airport first. Most of its lounges are Lufthansa's, so Star Alliance Gold status or a Lufthansa premium-cabin ticket opens the largest share of the field in Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is where the memberships work — Airport Lounge World is the single Priority Pass lounge, the Air France KLM Lounge takes DragonPass, and SkyTeam and oneworld status reach the contract lounges. Check whether your lounge is Schengen or non-Schengen before you clear passport control.
Star Alliance Gold (Lufthansa)
Star Alliance Gold status or a Lufthansa Senator card opens the Senator and Business lounges across Terminal 2 and its satellite. This is the most useful access route at Munich, since the Lufthansa lounges make up most of the field.
Business & First class ticket
A same-day Lufthansa or Star Alliance business-class ticket gets you into the Business lounges, while a Lufthansa First Class ticket or HON Circle membership opens the First Class Lounge. The simplest route if you're flying premium out of Terminal 2.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass is accepted at just one Munich lounge — Airport Lounge World, airside in Terminal 1 for non-Schengen and transit flights. If Priority Pass is your only access, confirm you're departing from the non-Schengen side of T1.
DragonPass
DragonPass opens the Air France KLM Lounge in Terminal 1, near gate D11 on the Schengen side. It covers a narrower set of MUC lounges than airline status, so check the per-lounge page before you travel.
SkyTeam & oneworld status
SkyTeam Elite Plus reaches the Air France KLM Lounge and Airport Lounge World in Terminal 1; oneworld Sapphire reaches those plus the Europa Lounge. Access follows your alliance tier and same-day ticket.
Emirates
The Emirates Lounge serves Emirates First and Business Class passengers and eligible Skywards members departing Munich. Access is tied to your Emirates ticket or membership rather than an alliance.

Status is king at Munich
- —Most MUC lounges are Lufthansa's — Star Alliance Gold status or a premium-cabin ticket opens far more doors than any paid membership.
- —Only one lounge takes Priority Pass (Airport Lounge World in T1), so don't assume your card works here as it would at most airports.
- —If you don't have status, the Terminal 1 contract lounges (Airport Lounge World on Priority Pass, Air France KLM on DragonPass) are your realistic options.
Schengen vs non-Schengen
- —Munich's lounges are split by Schengen (G gates) and non-Schengen (H gates) — pick one on the right side of passport control for your flight.
- —Airport Lounge World is for non-Schengen and transit flights only; the Air France KLM Lounge is Schengen only.
- —In Terminal 2, the Senator and Business lounges are duplicated across the Schengen and non-Schengen areas and the satellite building, so use the one nearest your gate.
Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2
- —Lufthansa and Star Alliance fly from Terminal 2; most other airlines use Terminal 1 — match your lounge to your airline's terminal.
- —Terminal 1 is where the lounge memberships work; Terminal 2 is almost entirely status-based Lufthansa lounges.
- —The Europa Lounge sits landside in Departure Hall D, useful before you clear security.
Choosing your Lufthansa lounge
- —Senator lounges are for Star Alliance Gold and Lufthansa Senators; Business lounges cover Gold members and business-class passengers.
- —The Senator Lounge by gate G24 is the largest Senator lounge in the Schengen zone — a good bet for space.
- —The First Class Lounge and Senator Café offer different experiences: full-service restaurant for First, lighter fare at the café.

Yes, but at only one lounge. Priority Pass is accepted at Airport Lounge World, which sits airside in Terminal 1 for non-Schengen and transit flights. None of the Lufthansa lounges in Terminal 2 take Priority Pass, so confirm you're departing from the non-Schengen side of T1.
Yes — Munich is a Lufthansa hub, so most of its lounges are Lufthansa's. There are Senator and Business lounges across Terminal 2 and its satellite (split between Schengen and non-Schengen gates), a Senator Café, and a Lufthansa First Class Lounge for First passengers and HON Circle members.
Your realistic options are the Terminal 1 contract lounges: Airport Lounge World accepts Priority Pass, and the Air France KLM Lounge accepts DragonPass. The Lufthansa lounges in Terminal 2 require Star Alliance Gold status or a premium-cabin ticket and have no membership or walk-in route.
