About WUX

Wuxi Sunan Shuofang Airport (WUX) is a compact two-terminal airport serving the city of Wuxi in China's Jiangsu province, between Shanghai and Nanjing. We track four lounges here. Terminal 1 handles international flights and holds a single lounge, the International First Class Lounge, airside opposite Gate 3 and reachable on DragonPass. Terminal 2 is the domestic terminal and carries three: the V1 First Class Lounge, which takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass, plus the V3 China Eastern Lounge for premium China Eastern and SkyTeam passengers and the Shenzhen Airlines King Lounge for Shenzhen Airlines and Star Alliance passengers. DragonPass is the single most useful membership at WUX because it opens a lounge in each terminal; Priority Pass covers the Terminal 2 V1 lounge, and the airline lounges follow your ticket and frequent-flyer status. Because the two terminals are separate, always pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from.

How we compile this guide

Sourced, never sponsored.

This guide is compiled from airline, alliance and lounge-operator sources plus published access rules from Priority Pass and DragonPass — we haven't independently visited every Sunan Shuofang Airport lounge yet. Nothing here is a paid placement, and the guide is updated as lounges open, close, renovate or change access policies. Read more about how we verify lounge data.

Access guide

How to get into lounges at WUX.

Wuxi Sunan Shuofang is best approached with a lounge membership or airline status. DragonPass opens the two First Class lounges, Priority Pass adds the Terminal 2 V1 lounge, and China Eastern or Shenzhen Airlines passengers use their airline's branded lounge. Check which terminal your flight departs from, as the two terminals each hold different lounges.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is the most useful membership at WUX — it opens the International First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 and the V1 First Class Lounge in Terminal 2. Present your DragonPass membership with your boarding pass at reception.

A premium-cabin ticket on China Eastern or Shenzhen Airlines (or an eligible alliance partner) gets you into that airline's domestic lounge directly — the simplest route if you're flying premium out of Wuxi without a separate lounge membership.

Insider tips

Know before you go.

01

Mind your terminal

  • Wuxi splits its lounges across two terminals — Terminal 1 for international, Terminal 2 for domestic — so check which one your flight uses before clearing security.
  • Terminal 1 has a single lounge (International First Class), while Terminal 2 holds three, including the two airline lounges.
  • The terminals are separate, so pick a lounge in the one you're departing from.
02

DragonPass leads here

  • DragonPass opens a lounge in each terminal, making it the single most useful membership at WUX.
  • If you carry Priority Pass, it works at the Terminal 2 V1 First Class Lounge but not the Terminal 1 lounge.
  • Both First Class lounges are contract lounges rather than airline-branded, so the membership matters more than your airline.
03

Flying China Eastern or Shenzhen Airlines

  • Premium China Eastern and SkyTeam passengers can use the V3 China Eastern Lounge near Gate 16 in Terminal 2.
  • Premium Shenzhen Airlines and Star Alliance passengers have the Shenzhen Airlines King Lounge near Gate 1.
  • Both airline lounges sit on the domestic side and follow your ticket and frequent-flyer status.
04

Plan around the hours

  • The Terminal 1 International First Class Lounge lists hours of 05:30 to 22:00 — outside that window it may be closed.
  • The V1 First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 runs roughly from the first to the last flight, so early and late departures are usually covered.
  • WUX is a compact airport, so allow a little time to find the lounge after you clear the checkpoint.
