Austin's United lounge, across from Gate 22, is closed for maintenance with no reopening date yet.
Yes, there is a United lounge at Austin airport, but it is temporarily closed. United closed the United Club for maintenance in July 2026 after mold was found in its leased space during maintenance work. United says it will reopen the club as soon as the work is complete, and as of October 2026 it has not given a date. The club is airside in the Barbara Jordan Terminal, on the West Concourse mezzanine across from Gate 22, next to the American Airlines Admirals Club. It is a legacy space, the former Continental Presidents Club, largely unchanged since 1999, with several small rooms, one window, lounge food and a bar. Even before the closure it was the weakest of the three clubs at AUS. While it stays shut, United flyers have no lounge to fall back on with a United ticket, because the Admirals Club needs a same-day American Airlines or oneworld flight and the Delta Sky Club a same-day Delta flight. Day passes cannot be used while the club is closed.
Crowding · busy at peak
You cannot work here while the club is closed. When open, the small rooms and single window make it a place for email rather than a long work session.
Nothing is being served while the club is closed for maintenance. When it is open, the United Club offers lounge food and a bar. It is a small club, so expect a modest spread.
