How to get lounge access at Beijing Capital Airport
Beijing Capital is a DragonPass-heavy airport: most independent lounges in T2 and T3 run on DragonPass, and those are the lounges you can book on LoungeDeal. Priority Pass has a smaller set, led by the 24-hour BGS Premier lounges in T2 and T3E, while Air China and Cathay Pacific lounges follow cabin and alliance status.
Book ahead on LoungeDeal
The CIP International lounges in T2 and T3E, Airport Club A2 and A3, Trvok A1, Barcelo, CIPB2, RUBY, Beijing Capital V6, Airport Easy and the Hainan Airlines VIP Lounge can all be booked on LoungeDeal; the price is shown at checkout.
DragonPass
DragonPass covers the same independent lounges in Terminals 2 and 3. Check the lounge entry in your DragonPass app, because some lounges are limited to domestic or international departures.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass covers the BGS Premier Lounge (T2 international, gate 5), the BGS Premier Lounge (T3E, near gate E19), the Joy Rest Lounge (T3E, opposite gate E10), the Hainan Airlines VIP Lounge (T2) and the China Eastern V2 Lounge (T2 domestic, China Eastern flights only).
Star Alliance and Air China
Air China, Star Alliance's carrier at Beijing, runs First and Business Class lounges for its premium passengers and Star Alliance Gold members. Confirm the lounge for your flight with Air China, as we have not verified their current locations and hours.
oneworld and other airlines
The Cathay Pacific Lounge in T3 by gate E20 serves Cathay premium passengers and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members. Emirates also has a lounge for its own premium passengers.
Beijing Capital Airport lounge tips
Check your terminal first
- —Air China, Star Alliance and most long-haul carriers use Terminal 3; SkyTeam carriers still at Capital and Hainan Airlines use Terminal 2.
- —Many China Eastern and China Southern flights moved to Beijing Daxing (PKX), so check the airport on your ticket.
- —T2 and T3 are separate buildings; you cannot walk between them airside.
Terminal 3 logistics
- —International T3E gates are reached by the APM train after security on level 4, so allow extra time.
- —The CIP International Lounge (T3E) stays open until 03:00, which suits Beijing's late long-haul departures.
- —Domestic T3C has three bookable lounges: Airport Club A2 and A3, both by gates C34–C35, and Trvok A1 near the C08–C18 gates.
Overnight and early flights
- —The two BGS Premier lounges, in T2 by gate 5 and in T3E near gate E19, and the Joy Rest Lounge (T3E) are the 24-hour options, all on Priority Pass.
- —The Cathay Pacific Lounge also opens 00:15–03:15 for Cathay's overnight departures.
- —Most bookable T2 lounges open 06:00–06:30 and close at 22:30, so very early or late T2 departures fall outside them.
