The Plaza Premium Lounge in the VIP Building is the most complete option at TAO — it's airside on Priority Pass, opens early at 05:30, and is the only lounge here that lists shower facilities alongside a hot-and-cold spread. A strong all-rounder for international and premium departures.
International VIP CLUB2 (T1 International)
International VIP CLUB2 is the airside DragonPass lounge on the international side, sitting just past security with a cold spread, bar, soft drinks and flight screens. The natural choice for DragonPass holders flying internationally out of Qingdao.
Laoshan Tourism Group
The Laoshan Tourism Group lounge is the cheapest airside option at TAO and sits on the domestic side toward Gates 42-75. It takes DragonPass and adds a conference room and printing — useful if you need to get a little work done before a domestic flight.
Trovk Waiting Room (T1 Dom)
The Trovk Waiting Room is the landside DragonPass lounge on the domestic side, on Level 4 opposite the R12 check-in counter. Handy if you arrive early and want to settle with a hot snack and Wi-Fi before clearing security.

Terminal 1
Qingdao Jiaodong operates from a single terminal, so every lounge we track is inside Terminal 1 — split between the domestic and international departure areas, with one waiting room landside before security. Most are independent contract lounges on DragonPass; the VIP Building Plaza Premium lounge runs on Priority Pass, there's a second Plaza Premium listing, and a couple of pay-in lounges round out the field. The airside lounges sit just past the security or passport checkpoints.

How to get into lounges at TAO.
Qingdao is a DragonPass airport first — that membership opens the widest set of lounges, including the airside international and domestic contract lounges and the landside waiting room. Priority Pass covers the Plaza Premium Lounge in the VIP Building, a second Plaza Premium listing runs on Plaza Premium membership, and a couple of lounges sell pay-in entry. Check whether your lounge is on the domestic or international side before you clear security.
DragonPass
DragonPass is the most useful membership at TAO, accepted at the largest number of lounges — International VIP CLUB2 and the Laoshan Tourism Group lounge airside, plus the landside Trovk Waiting Room. Most carry a per-visit cap of around two hours.
DragonPassPriority Pass
Priority Pass is accepted at the Plaza Premium Lounge in the VIP Building, which sits airside after passport control and security. It's the lounge to head for if you carry Priority Pass rather than DragonPass.
