Named after the shanyrak — the crown of a traditional Kazakh yurt and a national symbol — it's positioned as an elegant, serene haven for the home carrier's premium passengers. Access is for Air Astana Business Class passengers and Nomad Club Gold and Diamond members. The catering is fully complimentary and a clear step up from a snack bar: a hot buffet and snacks on the food side, and a full drinks offering covering soft drinks, house wine and beer, and liquor. As Air Astana's branded space in the modern terminal, it's the natural choice if you're flying the airline in a premium cabin or hold its top loyalty tiers out of Almaty.
