The Air New Zealand International Lounge is the home carrier's flagship lounge at Auckland Airport, in the International Terminal on the 2nd floor. It welcomes Star Alliance Gold status holders and Business Class passengers flying Air New Zealand or a Star Alliance partner, and also accepts oneworld Sapphire passengers and oneworld Business Class travellers. The design is contemporary but distinctly Kiwi, with warm wooden accents, subtle Māori-inspired artwork and a serene feel. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and look out over the tarmac, while the layout mixes plush armchairs, sleek workstations and cosy nooks. Lighting is soft and ambient with focused task lighting in the work areas, and noise levels stay low — gentle background music and hushed conversation — making it good for both relaxing and getting some work done before a long-haul departure. Facilities include showers, a bar and a buffet.
