Heydar Aliyev International (GYD) is Azerbaijan's main gateway, and almost all of its lounges sit in Terminal 1. The independent lounges are reachable on DragonPass and Priority Pass, with Star Alliance and oneworld each served by a business-class lounge. Terminal 2 adds a single airside lounge, and a few paid check-in and arrivals lounges round out the field.

Onde nós realmente iríamos.
Absheron Lounge

Salam Lounge
The Salam Lounge is the widest-access lounge at GYD — DragonPass, Priority Pass and Star Alliance all get you in. It sits landside near entrance B, so it's useful before you clear passport control and security.
VIP Service Group Business Class Lounge
The VIP Service Group Business Class Lounge on Terminal 1 Level 4 serves oneworld premium-cabin passengers and eligible status holders, with a business centre, charging stations, an open bar and buffet, and panoramic runway views.

Salas VIP de Heydar Aliyev International Airport por terminal.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is the main international terminal and holds the bulk of Baku's lounges. The airside independents (Absheron and Premium Bank) take DragonPass and Priority Pass, the airline business-class lounges serve Star Alliance and oneworld passengers, and the landside Salam Lounge adds Star Alliance access before the checkpoint. Paid check-in and arrivals lounges also operate here.
- —Largest cluster of GYD lounges, across landside and airside
- —Absheron and Premium Bank take DragonPass and Priority Pass (airside)
- —Salam Lounge is landside and adds Star Alliance access
- —Business Class Lounge (Star Alliance) and VIP Service Group (oneworld) serve airline passengers
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is the smaller terminal at Heydar Aliyev and carries a single lounge. The Mugam Lounge sits airside after passport control and security on the right-hand side, and is reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass — the only lounge option if you're departing from T2.
- —Far fewer lounges than Terminal 1 — the Mugam Lounge is the only option
- —Airside, after passport control and security
- —Reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass
Como entrar nas salas VIP em GYD.
Baku is a DragonPass and Priority Pass airport first — those two memberships open the independent lounges in both terminals. Star Alliance and oneworld status each reach a dedicated business-class lounge, and a few paid check-in and arrivals lounges sell entry directly. Most lounges are in Terminal 1, so check which terminal you're flying from before you decide.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the widest set of GYD independents, including the airside Absheron and Premium Bank lounges in Terminal 1, the Mugam Lounge in Terminal 2 and the landside Salam Lounge. It's the most useful single membership here.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass works at the same core independents — Absheron, Premium Bank and Mugam (airside) plus the landside Salam Lounge. Check the per-lounge page to confirm your lounge and terminal before you travel.
Airline & alliance lounges
Star Alliance passengers are served at the Terminal 1 Business Class Lounge and the landside Salam Lounge, while oneworld premium-cabin and status passengers use the VIP Service Group Business Class Lounge on Terminal 1 Level 4. Access follows your ticket and tier.
Walk-in / paid entry
A few Baku lounges sell entry directly rather than through a membership — the Baku Club arrivals lounge, the Salam Check-In Lounge and the AZAL Business Class Check-In Lounge. These cover arrivals, check-in and bag-drop rather than a standard airside wait.
Business class ticket
A business-class ticket on a Star Alliance or oneworld carrier gets you into that alliance's business-class lounge directly — the simplest route if you're flying premium out of Baku, with no separate membership needed.
Saiba antes de ir.
Lead with DragonPass or Priority Pass
- —Most of Baku's lounges are independent contract lounges, so a DragonPass or Priority Pass membership matters more than which airline you fly.
- —Both memberships cover the airside Absheron, Premium Bank and Mugam lounges, plus the landside Salam Lounge.
- —If you only carry one, either works at the core independents here — confirm your specific lounge on its page.
Know your terminal
- —Terminal 1 holds almost all of the lounges; Terminal 2 has only the Mugam Lounge.
- —Check which terminal your flight leaves from before choosing a lounge — the two terminals don't share lounges.
- —Most Terminal 1 lounges are airside, after passport control and security.
Landside vs airside
- —The Salam Lounge is landside near entrance B — handy before you clear passport control and security.
- —Absheron, Premium Bank and Mugam are airside, so you'll pass the checkpoint first.
- —The Baku Club arrivals lounge is for travellers landing rather than departing — don't confuse it with the airside departure lounges.
Check-in and arrivals options
- —The Salam and AZAL check-in lounges are private check-in and bag-drop areas with expedited security, not standard airside waiting lounges.
- —The Baku Club arrivals lounge offers porter and baggage service after you land.
- —If you want a place to relax before your flight, head for one of the airside membership lounges instead.
