Work Area
The Work Area lounge is the most accessible option at Bari for travellers without airline status. It sits airside on the mezzanine level, takes DragonPass, and sells a walk-in day pass, so you can pay per visit without a specific alliance or business-class ticket. Wi-Fi, power and air conditioning make it a practical pre-flight base.
Aeroporti di Puglia VIP Lounge
The Aeroporti di Puglia VIP Lounge serves Star Alliance Gold members and business-class passengers, sitting airside on the left after the security check. It's a calm, minimalist space with a touch of Italian elegance that's rarely crowded — the right choice if you're flying a Star Alliance carrier out of Bari.
VIP Lounge
The VIP Lounge is Bari's oneworld-aligned option, open to oneworld Sapphire status holders and business-class passengers. It sits in the main terminal after security with tarmac views, complimentary snacks and soft drinks, and a quiet, efficient atmosphere for unwinding before departure.

Main Terminal
Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport runs from a single passenger terminal, and all three lounges we track sit airside after the security check. The DragonPass-network Work Area is on the mezzanine level and is the only pay-per-visit option; the two VIP lounges sit just past security and serve Star Alliance and oneworld premium passengers respectively. Because everything is in one building, picking your lounge comes down to your access method rather than your gate.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em BRI.
Bari is a small single-terminal airport, so the question isn't which terminal but which access route you hold. The Work Area takes DragonPass and sells a walk-in day pass — the only pay-per-visit option here. The two VIP lounges are tied to airline alliances: one for Star Alliance, one for oneworld, both also open to business-class passengers on eligible carriers. All three sit airside after the security check.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the Work Area lounge, the airside mezzanine-level option at Bari. It's the membership route that doesn't depend on which airline you're flying — present a valid DragonPass with your boarding pass.
Walk-in day pass
The Work Area sells a walk-in day pass, so you can pay per visit without any membership or airline status. Booking ahead online is usually cheaper than paying at the door and guarantees a spot at busy times.
Star Alliance status
Star Alliance Gold members flying an eligible Star Alliance carrier out of Bari can use the Aeroporti di Puglia VIP Lounge, just past security on the left. Access follows your status tier and same-day eligible flight.
oneworld status
oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers can use the VIP Lounge in the main terminal. As with the Star Alliance lounge, entry depends on holding the right tier on an eligible same-day flight.
Business class ticket
A business-class ticket on an eligible Star Alliance or oneworld carrier gets you into the matching VIP lounge directly — the simplest route if you're flying premium out of Bari, with no membership needed.
Saiba antes de ir.
One terminal, pick by access
- —Bari has a single passenger terminal, so you don't need to worry about which building your lounge is in — all three are airside after security.
- —Choose your lounge by what you hold: DragonPass or a day pass for the Work Area, Star Alliance for the Aeroporti di Puglia VIP Lounge, oneworld for the VIP Lounge.
- —All three lounges sit past the security check, so clear the checkpoint before heading to any of them.
Pay-per-visit at the Work Area
- —The Work Area is the only lounge here that sells a walk-in day pass, so it's your route in without airline status.
- —Booking the day pass online ahead of time is usually cheaper than paying at the door.
- —It's on the mezzanine level airside — follow the lounge signage after passport control and security.
Using the VIP lounges
- —The two VIP lounges are alliance-specific: one serves Star Alliance, the other oneworld, so match the lounge to your carrier.
- —Both also admit business-class passengers on eligible flights, even without elite status.
- —They're described as calm and rarely crowded, with Italian-styled minimalist interiors — a quiet alternative to the terminal floor.
Timing your visit
- —Bari is a compact regional airport, so lounge stays tend to be short — plan around your boarding time rather than a long visit.
- —The Work Area keeps daytime hours (roughly 05:00–23:00), so very early or late flights may fall outside its window — check before you rely on it.
- —Allow time to clear security first, as all three lounges are on the airside of the checkpoint.
