Sobre DVO

Davao's Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO) is the main gateway to Mindanao, and its lounge scene is compact and centred almost entirely on the PAGSS operation airside near Gate 4. The five lounges we track are all past the checkpoint: the PAGSS Lounge (Dom) and PAGSS Lounge (Int) are reachable on DragonPass, the PAGSS Premium Lounge on Priority Pass, and a further international PAGSS Lounge on Star Alliance Gold or oneworld Sapphire status. Philippine Airlines runs its own Mabuhay Lounge for elite and premium-cabin passengers. In practice the PAGSS spaces are the same operation surfaced through different access programs, so the question at Davao is less which lounge than which membership or status you hold. Most can also be paid for on a per-visit basis, and all share showers, Wi-Fi and a hot-and-cold spread.

Best Overall

PAGSS Lounge (Int)

The PAGSS Lounge (Int) is the most useful airside option at DVO for most travellers — it sits past passport control near Gate 4, opens through the day on the international side, and gets you in on DragonPass with showers, sleep pods and a hot-and-cold spread.

Best for Priority Pass

PAGSS Premium Lounge

The PAGSS Premium Lounge is the Priority Pass entry point at Davao, on the second floor of the international departure area opposite Gate 4, with tarmac views, showers and refreshments. The one to head for if your membership is Priority Pass rather than DragonPass.

Best Airline Lounge

Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge

The Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge serves PAL's elite frequent flyers and premium-cabin passengers after security — the branded airline option at DVO for travellers flying with the Philippines' flag carrier.

Best for Status Holders

PAGSS Lounge

The PAGSS Lounge on the international side admits Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire members and business-class passengers, with waiter service, a buffet and a conference room. The route in if you carry alliance status rather than a lounge membership.

Main Terminal

Davao's Francisco Bangoy runs from a single passenger terminal that handles both domestic and international flights, and every DVO lounge sits airside within it, clustered around Gate 4. The PAGSS lounges are the core of the operation, reachable on DragonPass, Priority Pass or alliance status depending on the entry point, and Philippine Airlines keeps its own Mabuhay Lounge here for premium and elite passengers. The domestic PAGSS lounge sits to the right after the checkpoint; the international ones to the left and on the second floor.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em DVO.

Davao is a lounge-membership airport at heart — the PAGSS lounges that dominate DVO are reached on DragonPass and Priority Pass, with separate entry points for Star Alliance and oneworld status holders. Philippine Airlines runs its own Mabuhay Lounge for elite and premium-cabin flyers. Most PAGSS lounges can also be entered on a pay-per-visit basis, so you don't always need a membership. Everything is airside near Gate 4, so clear passport control and security first.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass opens the PAGSS Lounge (Dom) and PAGSS Lounge (Int), the two core airside lounges near Gate 4. It's the most useful membership to carry at Davao, covering both the domestic and international PAGSS spaces.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is accepted at the PAGSS Premium Lounge on the second floor of the international departure area, opposite Gate 4. Check the per-lounge page for current hours, as the Priority Pass lounge keeps a more limited schedule than you might expect.

Airline & alliance lounges

Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire members, and business-class passengers on those alliances, are admitted to the international PAGSS Lounge with waiter service and a buffet. Philippine Airlines elite and premium passengers use the Mabuhay Lounge.

Pay-per-visit entry

Most PAGSS lounges and the Mabuhay Lounge are purchasable, so you can pay per visit without a membership or status, subject to capacity. Confirm the walk-in rate and availability at reception when you arrive.

01

It's all PAGSS

  • Davao's lounges are run by PAGSS and clustered around Gate 4 — the difference between them is mostly how you get in, not where they are.
  • If you hold DragonPass, head for the PAGSS Lounge (Dom or Int); Priority Pass holders want the PAGSS Premium Lounge upstairs.
  • Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire status reach the international PAGSS Lounge with waiter service.
02

Mind the hours

  • The PAGSS lounges keep relatively short and varied opening hours — some afternoon-only on weekdays, longer on Saturdays.
  • Check the per-lounge hours against your departure time before counting on lounge access at DVO.
  • The international PAGSS Lounge (Int) on DragonPass tends to keep the widest daytime window.
03

Clear the checkpoint first

  • Every Davao lounge is airside, so you'll pass passport control and security before reaching any of them.
  • After the checkpoint, the domestic PAGSS lounge is to the right and the international PAGSS lounges to the left and upstairs.
  • Allow time for Davao's security and immigration queues at busy departure banks.
04

Know your access route

  • Most PAGSS lounges can be paid for on a per-visit basis if you don't hold a membership — ask at reception.
  • Alcoholic drinks at the PAGSS Premium Lounge have been suspended at times, so don't count on a full bar there.
  • Philippine Airlines flyers in a premium cabin or with elite status should use the Mabuhay Lounge rather than the PAGSS spaces.
