Sobre DEL

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) concentrates its lounge scene almost entirely in the giant Terminal 3, which handles all of Delhi's international flights as well as the full-service domestic carriers. Encalm operates the main contract lounges across both the international and domestic departures areas, joined by ENCALM Privé for premium passengers, the Air India Maharaja domestic and international lounges, an American Express Centurion Lounge and a RuPay card lounge. DragonPass opens the widest set of Encalm lounges, Priority Pass mainly reaches the Terminal 1 lounge, and several lounges also sell walk-in day passes. SkyTeam, Star Alliance and Air India premium passengers can use the airline-aligned lounges, while eligible American Express and RuPay cardholders have their own dedicated spaces. Terminals 1 and 2 cover domestic low-cost flying with far fewer lounges, so always confirm which terminal you're departing from before you travel.

Guia de terminais

Salas VIP de Indira Gandhi International Airport por terminal.

T3

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is Delhi's main terminal, handling all international flights and the full-service domestic carriers, and it holds the overwhelming majority of the airport's lounges. Encalm runs the principal contract lounges across both the international and domestic departures areas, joined by the Air India Maharaja lounges for the home carrier and Star Alliance, an American Express Centurion Lounge and a RuPay card lounge. Most sit airside after security; ENCALM Privé and the Maharaja International lounge are on the international side.

  • Delhi's largest lounge cluster — all international flights depart from T3
  • Encalm operates the main contract lounges on both the domestic and international sides
  • Air India Maharaja lounges serve Air India and Star Alliance premium passengers
  • American Express Centurion and a RuPay card lounge add card-based access
T2

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 handles part of Delhi's domestic low-cost traffic. Lounge coverage is thinner here than in Terminal 3 — Encalm operates the domestic-side lounges, reachable on DragonPass. Check your departure terminal before you travel, as Delhi splits domestic flying across more than one building.

  • Fewer lounges than Terminal 3 — primarily domestic departures
  • Encalm operates the Terminal 2 lounges, reachable on DragonPass
  • Confirm your terminal before travelling — Delhi splits domestic across terminals
T1

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 is Delhi's dedicated domestic low-cost terminal. The Encalm Lounge on the Terminal 1D mezzanine sits airside after security and is reachable on Priority Pass — the main lounge option for low-cost domestic departures out of this terminal.

  • Domestic low-cost terminal, separate from Terminal 3
  • The airside Encalm Lounge on the T1D mezzanine takes Priority Pass
  • No international flights depart from Terminal 1
Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em DEL.

Delhi is primarily a contract-lounge airport, where DragonPass and Priority Pass open most of the Encalm lounges and a paid walk-in day pass covers several more. Alliance status (SkyTeam and Star Alliance) and an Air India premium ticket reach the airline-aligned lounges, while American Express and RuPay cardholders get dedicated card lounges. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 3, Terminal 2 or Terminal 1 — Delhi's terminals are separate buildings.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at the largest set of Delhi's Encalm lounges, including the Terminal 3 international and domestic departures lounges and the Terminal 2 lounges. It's the single most useful membership across the airport's contract lounges.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass opens the Encalm Lounge on the Terminal 1D mezzanine. Coverage is narrower than DragonPass at Delhi, so confirm your specific lounge and terminal on the per-lounge page before you travel.

Several Delhi lounges sell entry at the door, including the Encalm Lounge in Terminal 3 Domestic, the Air India Maharaja lounges and the RuPay lounge. Booking ahead online is usually cheaper than paying on arrival and guarantees a spot at busy times.

01

Lead with DragonPass

  • DragonPass covers more Delhi lounges than Priority Pass — if you only carry one membership, it's the better bet at DEL.
  • Most Delhi lounges are independent Encalm contract lounges rather than airline-branded, so the membership matters more than your airline.
  • Priority Pass at Delhi mainly opens the Terminal 1D Encalm Lounge, so check your terminal before relying on it.
02

Mind the terminal

  • Terminal 3 handles all international flights and the full-service domestic carriers, and holds nearly all of Delhi's lounges.
  • Terminals 1 and 2 are separate buildings for domestic low-cost flying with far fewer lounges — confirm your departure terminal first.
  • If you're connecting between terminals, allow time for the inter-terminal transfer before counting on lounge access.
03

Card and airline routes

  • Eligible American Express cardholders have the Centurion Lounge in Terminal 3 Domestic near gates 27-28.
  • Holders of select RuPay credit cards get the dedicated RuPay lounge in Terminal 3 Domestic.
  • Air India and Star Alliance premium passengers can use the Maharaja lounges — domestic and international versions sit in Terminal 3.
04

Timing & crowds

  • Delhi's late-evening international long-haul bank fills the Terminal 3 lounges fast — arrive early if you want a seat.
  • Check-in, immigration and security at DEL can be slow at peak, so build in time and don't bank on a long lounge stay.
  • Booking a walk-in slot online ahead of time is usually cheaper than paying at the door and locks in entry on busy nights.
