The Plaza Premium Lounge is Edinburgh Airport's headline independent lounge, set airside near Gate 13 once you've cleared security and passport control. It's the most flexible way into a lounge at EDI: Priority Pass holders, SkyTeam Elite Plus and oneworld Sapphire passengers are all welcome, and the lounge also sells a walk-in day pass for travellers without status. The design leans into Scottish heritage, pairing tartan fabrics, local artwork and warm wood accents with large windows that frame runway views and flood the space with natural light. Inside you'll find a hot and cold buffet, a bar serving wines, beers and spirits, complimentary Wi-Fi and a mix of communal seating and quieter corners. Because it covers so many access types and serves a hot buffet, it's the default recommendation for most travellers leaving Edinburgh.
