The CIP Lounge is the most flexible lounge at Faro Airport, sitting airside in the Non-Schengen area just past the gate B duty free shop. It covers the widest set of access routes at FAO: DragonPass members are welcome, Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire passengers can use it on status or a Business Class ticket, and a walk-in day pass is sold for around USD 38 covering a stay of up to three hours. The space is a contemporary, comfortable lounge with Wi-Fi, a cold food selection, a bar serving wine, beer and spirits alongside soft drinks, flight information screens, a TV, newspapers and air conditioning. It also offers step-free access for passengers with reduced mobility, and children under six are admitted free. There are no hot dishes or showers, and because it's on the Non-Schengen pier, it only suits passengers flying outside the Schengen zone.
