Onde nós realmente iríamos.
Salon VIP
The Salon VIP is the airport's headline departures lounge, sitting airside in the International Terminal after security. It welcomes any passenger on a pay-in basis with complimentary snacks and drinks, so it works for the most travellers leaving Holguín without any membership or airline status.
Donaire Cristal
Donaire Cristal is Holguín's dedicated arrivals lounge for inbound international passengers, with complimentary drinks, a short window of Wi-Fi and expedited immigration. A genuinely useful stop the departure lounges can't match after a long flight.
Donaire Terraza
Donaire Terraza is the terrace option on level 2 of the International Terminal, welcoming pay-in guests before departure. A relaxed alternative to the main Donaire room if you want a bit more space and air before your flight.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em HOG.
Holguín is a pay-per-visit airport through and through — every lounge here sells walk-in entry, and none of the major lounge memberships or airline alliances run a presence at HOG. Whether you're departing or arriving, you pay at the door, so the main decision is simply which lounge fits your direction of travel.
Walk-in day pass
Every lounge at Holguín admits passengers on a pay-in basis at the door. The Salon VIP and the Donaire departure lounges cover travellers leaving Holguín, while Donaire Cristal handles arriving passengers. No membership or airline status is needed.
Arrivals lounge
Donaire Cristal is a pay-in arrivals lounge for inbound international passengers, bundling complimentary drinks, a short window of Wi-Fi and expedited immigration — useful after a long transatlantic flight into Holguín.
Business & First class ticket
Holguín has no dedicated airline-branded lounge, so a premium-cabin ticket doesn't include a specific lounge here. If your airline offers lounge access at HOG it will be through one of the pay-in lounges; check with your carrier before you travel.

Departures vs arrivals
- —Match your lounge to your direction of travel — the Salon VIP, Donaire and Donaire Terraza are for departing passengers.
- —Donaire Cristal is the arrivals lounge for inbound passengers, not a departure lounge — don't confuse the two.
- —Donaire and Donaire Terraza are on level 2 of the International Terminal; the Salon VIP is in the main airside departures area.
Pay-per-visit only
- —Every Holguín lounge is walk-in, so you don't need Priority Pass, DragonPass or airline status to get in.
- —There's no airline-branded lounge at HOG — the pay-in lounges are the only option whatever cabin you're flying.
- —Entry includes complimentary snacks and drinks, including soft drinks, house wine, beer and spirits.
Plan around the resort flights
- —Holguín serves the Guardalavaca beach resorts, so traffic peaks around the seasonal charter banks — arrive early on busy days.
- —The arrivals lounge can smooth a tiring landing with expedited immigration after a long-haul flight.
- —If you're connecting onward in Cuba, check whether your next flight leaves from Holguín or another airport before settling in.
Practical notes
- —Holguín is a smaller regional airport, so facilities are simpler than at a major hub — set expectations accordingly.
- —Bring cash for incidentals; payment options can be limited at smaller Cuban airports.
- —Confirm opening times locally, as lounge hours at HOG can follow the flight schedule rather than running around the clock.
