Sobre GLA

Glasgow Airport (GLA) keeps its lounge scene compact, with four lounges all sitting airside in the single main terminal. Two are independent lounges — the Lomond Lounge, which takes Priority Pass, SkyTeam and oneworld, and the UpperDeck Lounge on the international pier, which covers DragonPass and oneworld. The other two are airline lounges: British Airways runs a oneworld lounge opposite gate 15 for its premium-cabin passengers and eligible status holders, complete with a Glenlivet whisky snug, while Emirates operates a lavish lounge near gate 27 for its First and Business Class flyers and Skywards members. Because everything is airside in one terminal, the choice comes down to which membership or airline you're travelling with rather than which terminal you're in.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em GLA.

Glasgow's lounge access splits neatly between the two independent lounges and the two airline lounges. The Lomond Lounge is the broadest single option — Priority Pass, SkyTeam and oneworld all work there — while the UpperDeck Lounge covers DragonPass and oneworld. British Airways and Emirates lounges are reserved for those airlines' premium-cabin passengers and eligible status holders. Everything is airside, so clear security first.

Lounge membership

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is accepted at the Lomond Lounge, the airport's most flexible independent option. It's the simplest way into a Glasgow lounge if you carry the membership and aren't flying a premium cabin.

DragonPass

DragonPass opens the UpperDeck Lounge on level 2 of the international pier. If you hold DragonPass rather than Priority Pass, this is the lounge to head for at GLA.

Airline & alliance lounges

British Airways runs its own oneworld lounge for premium-cabin passengers and eligible oneworld Emerald and Sapphire status holders, and the Lomond and UpperDeck lounges also accept oneworld access. SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers can use the Lomond Lounge.

01

Pick your lounge by access

  • The Lomond Lounge is the broadest single option — Priority Pass, SkyTeam and oneworld all work there.
  • If you carry DragonPass rather than Priority Pass, head for the UpperDeck Lounge on the international pier instead.
  • Flying British Airways or Emirates in a premium cabin? Use that airline's own lounge near its gates.
02

All airside, one terminal

  • Glasgow runs from a single main terminal and every lounge is airside, so clear security before you look for one.
  • The Lomond Lounge is reached via the stairs to the right of the Rangers FC Store, or the accessible lift opposite Boots.
  • The UpperDeck Lounge is up on level 2 of the international pier, past World Duty Free.
03

Make the most of the views

  • The Lomond Lounge looks out over the airfield and the Campsie Fells — a calm spot with low noise levels.
  • Both the British Airways and Emirates lounges offer runway views from their seating areas.
  • The UpperDeck Lounge's large windows fill the space with natural light, away from the terminal bustle.
04

Branded touches worth noticing

  • The British Airways Lounge features a Glenlivet whisky snug and materials from Scottish makers like Bridge of Weir leather and Bute Fabrics.
  • The Emirates Lounge has Italian marble floors, plush leather armchairs and a complimentary full bar.
  • Both independents lean on contemporary Scottish design rather than a generic template.
